Anyone know why they all have that same tread pattern? I got them on my old emaxx and was gonna swap them but they must be pretty good if these guys run em?
@ectorvalle40595 жыл бұрын
Those are Jconcepts Renegade tires. They have that carved look the monster trucks got now. They are going with the realistic look, but also function!
@BJETNT4 жыл бұрын
Are they hook up surprisingly well on a track like that and as far as I know it's required in a show like that. A lot of places like that give out the tires that you're allowed to use. I learned that when the hard way and I was not happy
@VestedUTuber4 жыл бұрын
Competition rules. This particular competition is intended to replicate full-size monster truck events, so this tread pattern is required. The tires on the E-Maxx are decent for bashing but they're terrible for any sort of track use.

ou achète tu les monster truck RC ( sur quel site sur internet on en trouve)?
@starseeker275 жыл бұрын
I’m guessing all of these started off as kits
@ectorvalle40595 жыл бұрын
Yes, SMT10. Jconcepts carry all the monster truck accessories. Proline makes some tires and wheels too!
@VestedUTuber4 жыл бұрын
Most of them. There was an SMT10 Grave Digger RTR and a Redcat Ground Pounder RTR in there as well.

Why do people still use the Jellybean Hotwheels body shape for Maximum Destruction?

Cause that's the original body Tom Meents asked them to make but they couldnt do it properly

@ectorvalle40595 жыл бұрын
It's all custom, but try Jconcepts! The truck is an Axial SMT10.

I am thinking of getting the ground pounder.
@VestedUTuber4 жыл бұрын
Not a bad choice. Just keep in mind that it's not quite as durable as some of the other options, so don't thrash it too hard.
@kevinstewart1455 жыл бұрын
Where can we buy the kit to build these?
@ectorvalle40595 жыл бұрын
They start off as an Axial SMT10. You customize from there. Jconcepts have a variety of bodies, tires, and wheels to choose from. MCI racing have some old school monster truck decals too.

@@ectorvalle4059 yea I had a ProMT predator before I sold it to help my uncle with his race truck and actually trying to start racing myself

Talking about the RC btw
@VestedUTuber4 жыл бұрын
The big-name kit is the Axial SMT10. The Redcat Ground Pounder is a more entry-level truck that still can put on a show if you're willing to put up with breakages a bit more often. CEN Racing has their B50 and HL150, the latter of which is the most scale-looking design with double shocks. RC4WD has an offering of their own called the Carbon Assault. Of course, the Tamiya Clod Buster is a classic, although if you want to be competitive with it you really need to put some work into it, and Tamiya also produced the TXT-1 which was pretty much THE top-end solid-axle electric monster truck back when it was around.

@steveesman94696 жыл бұрын
I would lime to see quarter scale nitro trucks!,I have only seen one,but with a quarter scale blown v8!!!
@BJETNT4 жыл бұрын
The electrics are way more horsepower than the gas for weight!! Most of these trucks have 11 horsepower or more I know because I have one. The nitros can't touch them now with all the brushless motors with 30 volts to them. They won't let electric race with nitros because the horsepower is consistent in an electric gas it has to build up. Gas is kind of going the way of the dodo. Not to mention just the simplicity of the motors. You just don't have to adjust them and they're even waterproof a lot of times. I remember when I was a kid electrics couldn't even come close to gas.
