This year was bad for me too. My parents divorced and my cousin die unexpectedly few days before christmas :/ I pray for your father cuz i know how it feels lost dad too (my dad died becouse of diabetes 2 years ago). It was hard but we must reconcile with destiny. It'll be better, the only thing you need is time and patience (for me very helpful was music and MLP show) I just wish this year will be better for every1 ;)

That's just awful. And only you can understand fully what you've been through. I can connect to you on a personal level, seeing as I lost my grandfather in 2017. He was the only one who ever truly loved me. Here's wishing 2018 turns to be a much better year, for all of us.

Talking about everything you've been and have gone through is a big step in and of itself, Nerf, so kudos to you for having the courage to do that. Congratulations on the 4.4k subs! You deserve every single one, and I know you feel like you haven't thanked us, but this video and the apology one as well as how interactive you are with your viewers is thanks enough. Bad teeth? Honestly, and I swear on my life, I didn't notice them at ALL. Seriously, and I don't blame you for not wanting to go to the dentist. I'm afraid of going to the dentist too and I didn't even have the horrible experiences with a dentist like you have. Even though you were/are embarrassed to talk about this, thank you for doing it. +is listening to you while I'm typing this+ ...Wait, what?! She drilled into your SKULL and the filling had air bubbles? My lord... I hope she's not still a dentist! She deserves to have her license revoked! I'm glad to hear that you'll be getting that tumor or whatever it is up in the hole removed in spring, but would you please make a gofundme page or a patreon goal to get your teeth fixed? Because I would definitely make a donation! Congratulations on a girlfriend! Is she going to be in any of your future videos? I'm sorry to hear you lost your job and you went through that and that nobody defended you... That's not right that your boss didn't check to see if what that woman was saying was true. That's the kind of attitude I'd expect from a high school student. Not an adult. I know I already told you this, but I'm so sorry for the loss of your father... There's no need to apologize for crying either. You're being open and raw to us, and thank you for that. It's great that you were able to get closer to your father, have that conversation with him and be there by his side as he passed. ...Seriously? They left his funeral up to you because that's what GOOGLE said? I personally have never heard of that. It's the closest members of the family that should do that. Not only the eldest child. That's just...wow. Since 2017 was the worst year of your life, let's hope that 2018 will be the best for you! Or at least one of the best! +raises glass of sparkling water (because it's too late to drink alcohol)+ Here's to you finding a new and better job, to having your teeth all fixed up, to a wonderful relationship with your girlfriend, to friendships old and new, and to what will hopefully be an amazing new season of MLP! Also, please do think about taking donations for your dentist bills, because I'm sure a lot of us would be more than happy to help with it!

I was very busy for a week that I am late to see this. I am really sorry about your father, wish he rests in peace. And also your health issues, I hope that you're gonna be very healthy now and then. And everything else... That's sure a huge year of problems but it's all gonna be fine with this year for sure! Do not let down and keep going! Life contains sad moments such as these but it still continues. You're doing a very good job and I was watching your channel for a good time now. I am sure that you'll get over it with All my heart! Keep up! Happy New Years for you and everyone else!

I'm so sorry about how your year has gone and my condolences to you and your family. Take as much time as you need because you've had a rough year. I hope things get better for you. I too have fears of the dentist though I'm trying to conquer them. It's hard because I too had a scary past with dentists. I want to take this time to thank you for your videos because they always make me feel better. I've been watching you for a few years now and think you're a great person. You have a lot of people that like you so don't forget that when you are down. I don't think it's fair you have to take care of all the funeral proceedings and finances but you are very brave and admirable for it. Last thing I want to say is that I hope you can find a job that will appreciate you and your compassion for children. I watched your whole video and got to see the real you. And there's nothing to be embarrassed about because we are all human. We feel fear and hurt and cry. It's okay. Please take care of yourself. I look forward to your videos when you make them again. My heart goes out to you and I believe that you will push through this. Take care and hugs.

Getting that stuff out your gums is lot more important than your teeth. Don't worry too hard on getting transplants. Missing a few teeth isn't worth losing being able to smile. Unfair Dismissal from work is never good and it sucks that your co-workers threw you under the bus like that. Maybe they didn't want to risk thier own jobs too? Who knows. Glad you took them to court and won. People shying away from going to hospital, especially men, is actually quite a problem. A lot of older men have a habit of shrugging of peristant Health symptoms as something they can just walk off. Some do it out of avoiding something embarrassing, others because they hate hospitals and some because of their health fears, would rather just keep themselves obvious to it. It sucks that your fathers family just dumped sorting your fathers assets on you. My friends father was more or less abandoned after death with only him and his mother at the funeral and he wasn't even on good terms with him in the first place. Also f*** Google. Normally I don't watch videos like this but for some reason I decided to stick to the end. Take care of yourself. :)

I'm in the UK so dentist prices here can be anywhere between reasonable to ludicrous. :) I can understand your fears about getting sorted out tho. It's like trusting the people who cut your arm off to put it back on again and hope they know which end is which. Speaking on that.Id be surprised if the dentists that screwed up the drilling are still practicing because f***ing up that badly should be a good damn reason to sue their ass or at least make them help pay to fix it but that's just me. ^^ And I think you should be able to find work. 3 years of handling kids is experience to work anywhere because anywhere that hires teens and young adults is full of barely functioning human beings who run around screaming with no clue what they are doing. You'll do great. XD

Chris, I have to apologize that i comment after so many days. I had no Internet for a few weeks, saw it just now. To all others i apologize that i write this in german. LG, Nobbi

09:00 Before I say anything, please keep in mind that I'm not trying to diminish your problems or something. (Also read on - I'm witing this on the fly, often not knowing all the facts upfront, an I change my mind later). But when I heard about "health problems", I was thinking cancer or some surgery required, or stuff of that caliber. But bad teeth? Although I can understand that you may feel bad about it (my brother has got the same problem), there are *much, much* worse things that could happen to you, trust me on this one. Again, not to diminish your problems, I'm just trying to put in in context by comparison with health problems that are REALLY nasty. (Especially when you don't have money for medical care - which is HORRIBLY expensive these days!) But as much as I can see your teeth in your videos, they look better than mine :q I have many holes too, some of the teeth extracted long time ago, and my jaw shifted to the back. As for "evil dentists", I feel you bro, and it is exactly the same thing that caused my bad teeth - I was so scared of the dentists after several bad experiences with them in the past (some of them are pure SADISTS! could you believe that one of them stuck a NEEDLE in my aching tooth, straight into the nerve, and fiddled in there before the anaesthesia started to work?! ;P ) But finally I found a good dentist that can make the injection in such a way that I literally feel NOTHING the entire time, and he helped me many times. So I hope you will ultimately find one too ;) (12:55 post-factum: nevermind ;J ) 11:02 Very similar to my brother's problem. In addition, one of his front teeth grew outside the row. Technically, it doesn't look as bad as he thinks, and it isn't that bad of a problem as he thinks it is. It's purely psychological problem - it makes him feel bad about himself, and it is the only thing that really drives him crazy about it. And guess what - he is the only person on this planet who really cares about it :q It doesn't bother me, my family, his girlfriend or friends, it only bothers him. Sounds familiar perchance? I understand how you feel about it, but I also have to advice you: as long as they are your own, organic teeth, and it doesn't mess with your ability of eating etc., don't let the dentists mess with it. Especially, don't let them extract them. Organic teeth are irreplacable as of yet, and even present medicine can't "grow artificial teeth" yet. Dentists often advise to extract misplaced teeth, but they also extract their roots, so new teeth cannot grow back at the same place. They have to replace it with prosthetic teeth, which will never be as strong or look as good as natural teeth. Nevertheless, both of my front teeth gradually damaged so badly that they crumbled down on themselves, and they indeed had to be replaced with artificial ones. And here, again, I owe my good dentist a lot, because he cleaned their channels as much as he could, then put titanium shafts in the channels, and rebuilt both the front teeth from artificial mass, making sure than even their colour and shape match my other teeth. So they look _almost_ like natural ones. 11:44 You think you're alone? ;) Trust me, you're not ;) There are many people who avoid brushing their teeth, and it's not necessarily a bad hygiene practise. Too much brushing too often can actually make micro-breaches in the cover of the teeth, making it weaker with time and causing cavity. Well, not brushing alone, but in connection with another two ingredients: ACIDS and FLUORIDES in toothpaste. (No, it's not about bacteria, though they can produce acids too, so they are often mistakenly taken as the main cause of cavity.) Certain types of acids are especially damaging to the cover of the teeth, even in low concentrations, if they can act long enough. Especially phosphoric acid (there's PLENTY of it in Coca-Cola / Pepsi, together with citric acid) and hydrofluoric acid (fluorides are often added to toothpaste, supposedly for our good :q but they actually replace calcium in teeth, weakening them). There are other ways to keep your teeth clean than toothpaste and brush. Your teeth clean themselves when you eat certain types of food, and the best thing you can do for good health of your teeth is to avoid acids that gradually dissolve them (or, if you have to / like to, compensate them with bases). You can also use garlic against the bacteria (it contains natural antibiotic) - i know, it smells bad, but then you can use bubble gum - it cleans your teeth quite well and neutralizes the smell of garlic. There are also toothpastes based on natural ingredients, such as herbs, algae etc. 14:10 So true :q It's the same way in my country too, except that you have to be employeed or your insurance covered by other means to get that. So basically, when you're unemployed and poor, you're screwed :P But even if I'm unemployed (which is not the same thing as "being a lazy hobo", as many think ;q ), I still choose to pay myself for everything my dentist do, because the stuff not covered by the insurance is usually MUCH better than the cheapest stuff that is covered, and with private visits, my dentist doesn't have to explain every expense with a lot of paper work, so it's easier for him to balance the prices and it often turns out that private visits and non-compensated stuffs are not that much more expensive, but the waiting time is a lot shorter. And in the long run, it can even turn out to be cheaper, because you won't have to replace the fills every so often. As for the cheap stuff, avoid mercury amalgamate fills at all costs! They are POISON that is slowly released from your teeth into your body! :P 18:52 OK, now we're talking: this one really _is_ a serious problem, nothing to sneeze at, of course. 22:32 And that's great to hear. So hold on to your positives. Never let the negatives overweight the positives, keep them in balance, and use the negatives as a reminder how precious the positives are. There are things you simply can't change or afford, and that's OK. It's a problem most of the people have these times. It's very bad, but we can't really help much about it. Such is life. So we have to take from it what's best. 29:18 OK, another serious problem for sure ;/ Please accept my condolences :/ 33:00 That's perfectly understandable, and I appreciate much that you made this video. Not only because you were honest with us, and now we can understand you better, but also because letting it all out could (hopefully) make you feel better, by sharing your sadness and pain with us, instead of having to bear it all by yourself. By sending this message out, you are not "making our day worse" - it causes a lot of positive emotions, like compassion, lifting up, kindness and willing of help coming back at you from different direction. Although I can't help you financially - I can safely bet I'm poorer than you - you have my "mental" support for sure. I know I can't take your problems away, but I wish you all the best. 33:12 Don't have to apologize. That's perfectly understandable. 33:26 I'm not worried - I know you will be fine sooner or later, and that you'll make it through all the hardships (we all have to) - you're a great person, with big heart, so hold on to your colours and keep being awesome :J 37:50 I kinda know the feeling. Recently my cat died. He was dying in pain, and we couldn't do anything about it to help him or at least relieve his pain, because even if medicine went a long road, it's still helpless against the laws of nature at almost any area of life (and death). It's just the way nature works: when we come to this world, we "borrow" some of its matter to become our bodies, and sooner or later we will have to pay that debt and return that matter to the world, so that other beings could use it too. We can't do much about it. It's the circle of life. What we CAN do, though, is to live our lives to its best extreme and make the best use of it. One wise man once said that there is no meaning in life and death on their own, but it is important what we mean to each other, and this is the secret to life. Live your life in such a way that you will mean a lot in other people's lives. And your subscribers list confirms that your life already means a lot in other people's lives ;) And since your father's life meant a lot to you, it shows that he used his life in a good way. 44:10 And that's the best way to look at it. It only shows who cared much about him, and whose lives he influenced the most. I know how hard it is - as if the loss weren't enough ;p Funerals and then the "lat will" battles can easily divide people, and it can often go on for years before they agree how to spread the goods. I know that from my own experience, after losing several family members already. 47:08 True words of wisdom, and I'm glad you understand them.
