You have a lot more patience than I ever would have. It was spectacular body work you done and how clean you did it, the body lines turned out amazing and perfect. And the one thing people don't understand is that this type of work doesn't take days but months or years to get it done correctly and accurately to get it to that perfect image. All I can say is great work you are truly an inspiration.

how the hell is that a total? super easy repair.
@Jake-wd9mq6 жыл бұрын
TheGriz the shop who wrote the estimate likely wrote according to GM repair procedures. That being said fixing a vehicle to GM standards isn’t always cheap. Likely why it was a total. This guys way isn’t necessarily “wrong” just not the way GM would spec the repair.
@FixItNick6 жыл бұрын
Sometimes it looks worse than it is and estimators give a huge number so insurance just totals it
@Velislide6 жыл бұрын
GM repairs would have replaced the cab, box, and front fender & doors. Labor costs would have been insane.

Usually those are people who drove it into a ditch themselves and they don't want to file an insurance claim and just sell it privately. Title is still clean. You can make a lot of money from fixing those up and selling them cause they are usually dirt cheap.
