May be returning to bikes after a 15 year or so absence and it's amazing how the scene has changed. Was all about the 600, 750 and 1000cc four cylinder supersports. Now it's seems to be a lot about naked bikes and twins. Parallel twins were only found in smaller commuter bikes but are much more prevalent today. For me you can't beat a 4 cylinder screaming at 10,000+ revs!

I have a GSX S750 which I traded my gorgeous 675R for, mainly for comfort reasons and I’ve not been disappointed. Endless fun on the road, so capable, usable and super mean looks, especially in the “Phantom’ black which mine is. I added the Yoshi can which sounds amazing and completes the looks. Did 2,400 miles in a week across Europe with the boys and it was a joy. Did everything really well, especially the alpine twisters! I stuck a screen on for the trip to help with the motorway sections. Great bike and a bloody bargain!

Thanks again for a great review TMF - Huge fan from Denmark. Im at the end of getting my mc licence, and this model seems perfect for me, not too agressive, great handling, good brakes, all the rider aids needed. And it being the undervalued underdog is apealing. So much value for such a small price. In Denmark the price is alot higher, in comparison to your currency it's 12.157 euro, due to registration taxes. I don't see a simpler choice, then this bike as a first bike 😉 Thanks again for helping us make the right choice.

I think the problem you have in finding anything really negative to say about the bikes you test is actually quite telling . Motorcycling journalists need to find slight differences in order to have something interesting to write about, and ranking competing bikes is of course a staple component of comparative tests. Its all fun but nonsense really. The truth is in real world conditions with real world riders most bikes are so close in ability that it really is down to personal preference rather than any inherent quality of the machines on offer. Having said that Suzuki always tilt the balance slightly towards "value for money" and are very hard to beat on those terms alone.

Test rode this and the SV650 back to back. If you want a nimble, sporty naked with an ULTRA smooth inline four engine and PLENTY of go, the GSXS 750 is it - cracking bike. As admirable as the GSXS is, I preferred the SV, with its grunty twin cylinder engine - plus it's two grand cheaper.

I love that little cycling comparison, very true. I always liked motorcycles but always thought its bit too expensive so I substituted it with mountain biking. Not really huge fan of the pedal up part, but going down is what gives me. Unfortunately mountain biking got to a point, where decent MTB costs as much as a motorbike. Got me a dirtbike couple years back and it has all the good bits of cycling, but it is way more fun going up! :D Now I am thinking about fulfilling my live long dream and getting a proper street bike and most likely it will be the GSX-S 750. Great video as always! One small detail, were the handlebars wide enough because you did the whole video gripping the ends of the bars!

I think now you have ridden and reviewed 3 main naked bikes below 1000cc. You should do a comparison video, will be really helpful.

Hi I enjoyed your review as always; I like yourself do not have much in the height department; so I am always interested in the seat height/usability aspect of new bikes ( which seem to be geared towards long legged riders). I; unfortunately only have relatively short legs which makes bike choices limited; any chance you could mention inside leg versus seating position? A static shot of you sitting on the bike would be great. Keep the reviews coming P.S. loved your recent touring exploits; great viewing!

TheMissendenFlyer it's hard to head back home on days like that! Tough riding in central Texas right now, 100 degrees every day until late September so you really have to get your rides in before lunch! Thanks for all the great motorcycle reviews.

Bad news - better to be too hot for riding than too cold though in my experience...

The 'PS' stands for pferd-stark, which is horse power in German. The numbers are different from BHP because one is measured at the crank and the other is measured at the wheels, but can't remember which is which. Maybe Suzuki has a bigger market in Germany than in the UK, I don't know? Nice bike, though...

Had mine about two months, awesome bike with a top top engine shame it doesn't have a quickeshifter..more then enough power for on the road..why do you need a liter bike?

I entirely agree!

But you can do clutchless shifting if you want or install a quick shifter

To flip the question around; If you're going to work out anyway, why would you not do it by BEING the motor on a bike? It's quite satisfying. I find riding both bicycles and motorcycles gives one twice the excuse to live life on two wheels. Wish there was more camaraderie between the two groups, we all know the real enemy is cell phone addicted cage pilots.

I had one of these when they where the GSR750 until we both ended up in a ditch due to gravel on a corner, I loved every single minute I owned it.
