A very helpful video mate. It’s simplified for even someone like my Mrs! 😂

Wondering if you know the rotor disc part number. Edit: Bremo 09.C047.11

My 2017 discs look the same. Other videos show M8 bolts being needed to pop the disc off and some also show a couple of countersunk screws that have to be removed so I guess that there are a couple of variants. I am surprised at how easy the disc came off so were bolts used but not filmed?

hi, yes it should have a countersunk Philips head bold that holds the disc, the one I worked on didn't have it, so it came out easier than auntie's slipper when i was a bad boy.

@@garagetalk7082 Thanks. Mine hasn't got screws and I have had it since new. Pads replaced once by me about two years ago but this will be the first time the discs have come off.

With better camera placement, no music and a little more careful approach, this would have been a good video. Shouldn't you take the opportunity to grease the caliper pins as well?

nothing was seen, put the camera on the other side.

Are the springs there to retain the brakepads or to pull them away from the disks? So in other words: are they supposed to be on the back side of the pads or the inside?

They are on the front as you look at the caliper, rather small clip style

@@garagetalk7082 Better. Don't choose music at all. The music is indeed very annoying.
