That was absolutely unreal. Who knew time lapses could be so intense! I'm insanely curious as to what cameras you guys use, and what lenses. Do you always shoot with super low apertures so that everything is in focus? Some shots have such a clear (in focus) foreground and background, and I just can't wrap my head around how that is possible.

No general settings here. Every shot is different. some have complete wide open apertures at f1.4, many at f8. Rarely above f10 to maintain best sharpness. Focal length is much more important than aperture for deep depth of field really. Cameras: Sony A7RII, Nikon D850, Sony A7s, Canon 6D Lenses: Canon 11-24mm f4, Zeiss Otus 28mm f1.4, Tamron 15-30mm f2.8, Canon 70-200mm f4, Zeiss Milvus 35mm f2, Sigma Art 50mm f1.4

Martin Heck, Your timelapses are an inspiration. The milkyway skies are so sharp and clear, is there anything special about it? Which camera do You use for night skies? I'm guessing it's Sony A7s for it's low-light capabilities.

@@TimestormFilms how do you do timelapse in motion? Do you have a rig that moves a little every few minutes and if so how do you do it in the air. Also one other question how do you see those Galaxy and stars pictures that looks like a telescope? Your videos looks so real they look fake, lol.

You may just need the junk cleaned out of it. A lot of people offer this service or maybe you have a family member who knows how.

Wonderful. Especially like where the Shutter Speed was perfect (0:53 1:02) to smooth the motion, and the Equatorial Mount shots (1:28) to freeze the Stars.

Wooo your work is so amazing all your time lapses are so sharp and so creative! I really wonder how you can get such a sharp time lapse especially when you are shooting with a telelens? I think it may be the case of the intro one. I have done some myself but every time it's really bland and misty. You might have a processing trick no? ;-). I find it really hard especially because most of the time the lens moves with the wind and also there is almost everytime dust on the lens whatever you can do... What do you use to stabilize you time lapse After effect? And to remove the dust? I do it from Lightroom but I'm not always satisfied with the result.
