Rob, to confirm absence of coolant leaks I'd always pressurise the system with air to force coolant through any leak paths. Much quicker than getting the engine hot, and you have a cold engine to work on afterwards.

I've just had an amazing idea for a stand alone video. Rob comes and collects my Vivaro Van and Chris can then prep it for full respray and sort out some cosmetic issues along the way. Once done Rob can clean it to new van standards and before crunching the numbers you lads could give it a full service and brim the tank with fuel. Obviously as its "Content" for the channel...you surprise us all by saying "No no this is on us no need to pay". You free Friday afternoon for Collection Rob...lol.

Another cracking job gents. I love watching and interacting in your videos. Keep up the good work and keep the content coming. I think the majority of us would like to see Chris doing the bodywork, it would give some of us the confidence to try it ourselves. Wee tip for the copper washers (any copper washer). Heat them up till they're orange then dip them in water. Softens them up up you get a perfect seal.

I’m a trained diesel mechanic and worked on Volvo trucks back in the day. I’ve no idea if you guys are qualified but if you have a basic understanding of engines and a bit of common sense most things are doable. And, these days there’s so much information available there’s no reason why we shouldn’t have a bash.

Would you consider doing a bit of a camper project on it? LWB is ideal - Pop top, window van conversion and a camper furniture/bed build. Would be worth strong money for a nicely finished van and hold their value well too. You both seem to like your campers and with your attention to detail and skill it would be great to see!

Great viewing, I am in Australia, have found from previous experience with these Puma engines that quite often you can get parts a lot cheaper through Land Rover, as this engine was used in the Defenders, and Land Rover don't charge as much as Ford do for some parts! Shows what knowing means, diagnosed and repaired instead of jumping in with engine change. Looks good, keep/sell, do bumpers, not etc. I'm sure at some me stage you'll wish you kept it, just depends on how much you need the extra carrying capacity daily. 👍
