I understand very well, what you mean - was also kind of shocked. Since then I saw her at the concert in Bratislava and the "scratched image" got restored again. She didn't say much, but what she said was amazingly powerful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4LFfXypjKp2d7c I'm sure, she has still the same values! But there is also a kind of conscious naivety especially regarding economic aspects (what I can understand very well). But I guess, she knows now everything about this story … and will respond. The main interest of the management is probably not only to make money, but to keep the financial aspects of the company positive, what seems to include also deals like the one with Voyah. We don’t know, how much pressure they put on Aurora, but they do for sure … But probably I'm naive myself !!?!!

Interesting posting by Marvel4 at warriorsweirdos: "At first, I thought: WTF, Aurora in a car commercial? But the more I think about it, it could almost be an anti-commercial (or at least it's open to interpretation). There seem to be some hidden messages in the video (her reflection in the water looks different) and the lyrics ("it hurts when the beauty is lost in the speed"). Her fans are probably not going to buy a luxury car because of this commercial. In fact, there are a lot of negative reactions and I think she expected that. Maybe it's a good thing that it makes people think. At worst, some people are going to buy an electric car instead of a gas car."

@@forrrob I'll be brief as this is probably not the place for an extended discussion. I've seen a number of threads in various places but, in the absence of any real facts, they are plucking apologist theories out of the air. The point is that she has associated her music and her image to a commercial selling a product: a luxury electric SUV, weighing in at over 2000kg, it's not small! It's made by a Chinese state owned manufacturer, not renowned for it's human rights, and whilst clean to run, electric vehicles have their own demons ... battery production is documented as using forced labour. Anyone really interested will have done their own research I'm sure ...
