To anyone who is having issues with your left turn signal making the brake light flash i will be uploading a video to point you in the right direction. Kinda sad AM and MP couldnt get it right, but i will be your guide👍

If I only want the DRL and Reverse functions I would only splice the red wire to the taillight? I don't like the flashing when braking.

I have different wiring. Green with yellow stripe and red with white stripe. Is this the same as green with purple and red with yellow?

Dose this cause the screen image to flicker when you put the Mustang in reverse at night? There's got to be a reason Ford didn't make the reverse light LED in the first place.

It shouldn't cause any issue with backfeeding. They most likely stayed with halogen for cheapness/ability to replace bulbs

@@anthonysoria9127 brandon chin on KZbin has a video. U dont wire the reverse light to the taillights instead you wire it to the battery pack if I remember correctly. That way its not dependent on the tailights.

Ordered this recently and my wiring is different colors. Wires off the brake light or not red and blue. They are black and green. The white and black cables also have a connector on them

Disconnect the blue wire from taillight harness and splice it into your 3rd brake light harness (red wire there)in your headliner, you will need an extension wire

how can you tap the blue and red wires so the light works as a DRL and doesn't flash when you hold the brake? I've seen somebody do it on a 2018-2019 mustang but they said they spliced the blue into black and the red into green/orange, but I don't have green/orange on mine. the flashing must be annoying for people behind me so I need to get rid of the flashing ASAP! D:

are you braking and have the left turn signal on? If so thats why. This product has you wire into essentially the left turn signal.

If you didnt use the blue wire then it wont flash and its a DRL 🤝

orrrrr, you can buy weatherproof connectors with whatever pin amount you need and splice or solder that in so that it’s only 1 connection, actually weather proof, and impossible to reconnect incorrectly

I have it. I think it looks awesome. It definitely makes it look apart the rest at night UPDATE: I kinda regret it now 😂 the flashing when braking and signaling left gets annoying, the reverse light is tacky.
