This swingarm leather bag is designed for 2018/2022 Harley Davidson® Softail® models, and rigid frame motorcycles. Bob Special has a decorative leather insert on the flap, a 4 cm wide strap and a nickel-plated buckle. Installation is easy: three 2 cm wide leather straps are fastened on the motorcycle swingarm tubes. The bag back includes aluminum inserts to the straps passages in order to keep its original shape in any condition.

Yep it's a looker, best I've seen for the Fat Bob, very well done guys. My only concern is with sagging over time with heavier loads (~5kg). I know those are aluminium supports near the mounting straps - can anybody report on how the shape holds up after heavy use? (FYI besides this I'm considering a Viking bag which uses a thick plastic backing or even a DIY aluminium plate for another bag.)

Hello Andrew, the bag has aluminum reinforcements (you can see them at time mark 00:34) and is made of 4mm thick vegetable tanned bull leather. Shape retention is not a problem. That being said, 5kg are a bit too much for that kind of bag. We recommend to NOT do that.
