Great video ! Why do you go to the battery instead of using the terminals under the hood?

@@bshankar67 I feel better about it. If you have other accessories on the under hood terminal in addition to a winch you could potentially overload and melt a wire.

I don't know why everyone on these ranger videos makes such a big deal out of cutting the hole for the switch. I use a utility knife with a new blade and cut it cleanly in about 45 seconds

@@Roadglide2020. It’s easy to get over zealous and cut out the knockout to size, if you’re using Polaris switches they fit great but most aftermarket rocker switches are smaller so you end up with a pretty ugly oversized hole unless you start small. What kind of switches are you using?
