the 22 LMP2 car crash made me wince with the way he hit that barrier. I am glad that they expanded that gravel trap instead of leaving it as the wall because that probably would have done more to that car if it was just a solid concrete wall.

Well done Toyota indeed. But I don't understand why people support them. With the possible exception of the GT86 and now the Yaris GR, they make very dull cars for people who just aren't interested in cars and motorsports. Most of the people who own or drive Toyotas know almost nothing about them. They're just white goods to them, like a fridge or a washing machine. So why such enthusiasm and cheering?

Well technically they got both cars to finish in 2009 but they were customer Audi R10s and in 2015 they did make it to the finish but were later disqualified but even then they hadn't done enough laps to be classified. hopefully 2019 proves a good race for them

Yes, Porsche, God Love 'em, has a habit of making cars so great and dominate that the rules get changed, they take what they have learned and move on - to make better road cars. This happens to the best of them, like the 917K.

It makes it more of a challenge. If you go off the track and never see any repercussions, the drivers will get lazy. This makes them focus on staying on the track and on their game.
