Nice, I didn't think of doing it this way and have the same tools. I had put down 1 inch boards and rove on top of them allowing just enough room for me to slide my Low Profile jack. The Million dollar question is why the hell did Honda do this. It's like they don't like DIY Honda owners.

I drive our 2019 Honda Civic Sport, and our 2007 Scion tC, up onto a pair of 2 x 12's. This provides me the clearance to get my jack, which isn't a low profile racing jack, under the front to the jacking point. What I have is a 3 ft length of 2 x 12 with a 1 ft length, ripped down to 8 inches, lag screwed to it. The 1 ft length sticks out beyond the 3 ft length so that it fits in between the side rail guides of my ramps and rests on the ramp's tire surface. The 3 ft length slides up against the base of the ramps and rests against the ends of the side rail guides. These two stacked boards allows me to drive our cars up onto the ramps, or to slide my jack underneath the front to the proper jacking point.

So I did it without jacking the front tires on blocks. If you jack up one of the points under the rear doors, the same side front also raises up enough to put a jack stand under the front door point. Lower the jack till the car sits on the front door stand then now you should be able to get the jack placed from the front and reach the circular cutout jack point. Take your time and should be easy as well as safe. I like to leave the jack raised under the car for safety as well, just may have to reposition the jack as the drain plug is almost in the center of the car. Good luck!

So let me ask, I can see that your factory pinch welds, where the factory jack goes, are bent. I presume this was caused by your floor jacks yoke pressing up against them. Does that bend prevent you from using the factory jack?
@JustaHondaAccord3 жыл бұрын
The pinch welds are not bent its an optical illusion from the fish bowl pov I had the camera set to.

Your left rear jack stand is awfully close to that deep groove in your garage floor… just caught my eye, seems risky. I would have moved the car, or moved the stand just a little further away as there’s some wiggle room on that jack point.

Believe I saved a grand by installing all 3 myself. Have to make the decision is the work worth the savings... The puddle lights were the only challenge. Not hard just time consuming and have to get over cutting into a painted panel, that's a tough pill to swallow if it's your first time doing it.
