Huge fan of this often overlooked hero of Aussie motorsport. A man who not only had so much drive to achieve what had not been done in Australia prior to him appearing on the scene...but who was also so loyal to the Ford brand (and supportive of his fellow Ford competitors) despite being left high and dry by the company on more than one occasion. One can only imagine how much more success Ford could have achieved if Allan been given the support and respect that Brocky was afforded by Holden. But despite the letdowns Allan still achieved so much. That was down to his sheer determination to succeed. Good on you Allan Moffat. An Aussie icon.

Wonderful man. My late Dad got me into motor racing in the late 60s watching him battle Bob Jane in his Camaro The races were televised in black and white. Those were the days 😊

Congratulations Alan for finally being awarded and inducted into the Hall of Fame. Should have happened decades ago. Without you in Aussie motorsport, there would never have been any competition.
