Were the DE's and the OSLB's getting the correct reads? Houston plays in the worst conference in FBS. Every offense is a version of the last. Their coaches had no gameplan.

My high school ran the wing-T. It does today, and it has for almost fifty years. It's the smallest public school in our section in California, but is one of the regulars in the finals. They know it's coming, but it doesn't seem to help.

On Army pass plays,just before end of regulation Oklahoma was GUILTY of pass interference,twice,should have been first and goal Army from the 4 or 5 yard line. They ran 400 yards on the Sooner's that game, Army could have and should have won 28 to 21 in regular time.We never excused it, did it the Army way,man up, move out, There are 2 first rounders and 4 2nd rounders on this Army team. Every season Army is 10 deep on the O line ,4 deep at full back,two deep at quarter back, 6/7 line backers,depth with no drop off at all. They crush you with numbers ,superior conditioning( entire student body has to to pass the A.F.P.T. it's a bitch, I passed it., players that are tough enough for real battle,know how to box(mandatory for men) and complete discipline 100% of the time.Quitters do not make it past that first summer.

Yeah Army was definitely ready. Not Houston. It is amazing Houston could go from upsetting top ten teams 3 years ago to getting humiliated by an option team, regardless of how good that option team is. Option controls clock, not scoring at the speed of a team like West Virginia or Oklahoma, much less at an even higher rate. Shows you injuries, and yes, preparation, can really matter when opposite ends of that spectrum are reached. Go Army by the way!!

Caleb Lead army was good af this year. The option/Wing T is hard to stop when it is run as efficiently as army did. Just look at the citadel game vs Bama they struggled with the option. It’s hard to replicate the scheme with a scout team
