If a team was clearly inferior to your squad then your statement makes sense, but when you're playing teams on your level who clearly have multiple impact players part of your planning takes into account those players - why? They take those players into account because the other team wraps an offense or defense around those players and the tendencies that are studied in group prior to the game (especially offensive tendencies, which are more scripted) are often time a direct result of trying to get play makers the ball; or lining up your stud defensive players against the weakest (or strongest) offensive counterpart to create mismatches...quick example, since the end of 2015 teams had to account for Saquon Barkley at my alma mater PSU...you don't think that if Barkley, McSorely, Goodwin and Cabinda on defense didn't play in a game that it wouldn't made a difference in the outcome? Four of those 11 players that sat out were stars on the team and leaving four the NFL...so that type of talent wouldn't have made any difference? Even in their lopsided loss to Ohio State this year basically the whole starting front seven was out or played injured...getting little pressure on Haskins all game - so it does make a difference.

@@cldaniels7632 There is no doubt that the SEC is all about speed, but that said, if you think the B1G is a slow Conference, how do you explain the head-to-head Bowl Game won/loss ratio between the two Conferences over the last several years? It the SEC was so dominant then the ratio would be extremely lopsided but it's not...as far as the UF being a good school, it actually holds it's own against the B1G and the ACC, unfortunately UF, GA, Vandy and Texas A&M are the only teams that are ranked TOP 50 out of the Conference - if you respect the rankings. There was an interesting research piece by the Wall Street Journal on what would happen to Natl' College Football rankings if you factored in the academics of the schools and players - just suffice it to say that Alabama would not be in the TOP 25 and the only SEC team that made this theoretical list was Vanderbilt...so go figure.

Looking through a lot of comments I’ve seen pretty much no Michigan fans wanting staff to get fired. I mean idk about my fellow Michigan fans but I’m exhausted after this season, has a great record, but the offensive play calling ALL YEAR was just garbage, way to conservative and predictable. And it’s heartbreaking because we have some SERIOU talent on the offensive end but don’t use it to the full extent. I hope we see some changes next year wolverines but I’m glad the season is over especially after the last two losses

I don't think Harbaugh should be fired. Should he be on the hot seat? Yes. We need a new offensive gameplan and a new OC. We have a good QB and great WR why recruit them if your going to waste them. Every time we run the 2 minute offense we look great so why ground and pound all game.
