Honza Štěpán the 48v hybrid system will not drive the car directly, it only helps the electric things （such as air con) working well when the car stopped and the engine power cut. but definitely will made the car slightly heavier than older s8 model. However, with more power, probability 700 more hp, they don’t really give a shit to those few kilos weight increase

Audi is nice but not sure I'd want any VW Group product once outside of maker's warranty. My own personal VW experience wasn't great. BMW however has been good to me. Not that I can afford either of these anyway. And if I could then maintenance and repairs aren't going to be a problem.

I know that. Bentley is VW on another level as well. I'm not naive. If VW Group would allow the Porsche reliability genes to filter down through the rest of the brands I would consider buying another VW Group car. Audi Is premium priced VW but with the same underpinnings and attitude. I like Audi cars for what they are but you're still locked into the VW mass market maintenance pricing model once out of warranty.
