2018 Bentley Continental GT3 Testing at Monza: 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 Roar!

Yesterday I was able to record one of the new Bentley Continental GT3. It has been developed by Bentley Motorsport’s in-house team together with designers and technicians at Bentley’s motorsport technical partner, M-Sport. Based on the new 2018 Continental GT, the GT3 features the lovely redesigned body lines that are accentuated and made more aggressive thanks to the aero development. Little changes have been made to the old 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine too. Unrestricted power is in excess of 550 bhp.

For a twin turbo v8 it’s way under powered. My single turbo v6 puts out 600hp to the wheels. This thing is lucky to have 550bhp

You can't hear the wastegate on these cars, as ALL the exhaust gases have to flow through the catalytic converter. So there's no such thing as screamer pipers in these cars.

Nope, you didn't hear an BOV. What you heard was a lack of a BOV, thus forcing the air to get pressed backwards, through the still spinning turbo. This phenomena shakes itself up, so there is a rapid multiple difference in pressure & changes, that's why you hear this "tshutsutsutsu" A BOV sounds like this: "tsuuuuuu"
