this car is not personally owned by me however i have seen its ups and downs it is a perfect luxury sedan that offers lots of comfort and good performance

I have the same BMW 540i and I’m very happy with it. Sometimes I forget, while driving my BMW 540i that it’s very easy to speed in it because it’s so quiet 🤫 ! Remember that if any of you decides to purchase this year model. Also, this BMW540i has the best engine and transmission combination for good performance but also smooth and effortless gear changing while in the city or even the highway. I highly recommend this vehicle 🚗 Later G-MAN Peace ✌️!

B58 is not twin turbo. Single Turbo, dual scroll on the turbine side; hence, BMW calls is Twin-Power Turbo.

Hello thank you I’m glad you liked the video So this has been my dads car since 2018 he bought it new and done 80,000km so far and we haven’t had any issues at all the car always runs great we only had one problem that was very minor and they fixed it at the dealership for free ( car had a service package) it was something with the sensors whenever we’d stop at a traffic light the car would just beep at the solid white line thinking it’s an obstacle but apparently that was because of sand and dirt however the car is extremely comfortable and extremely practical it’s very smooth and quite but when you put it in sport it becomes surprisingly aggressive and responsive and doesn’t sound all that bad if you’re gonna drive carefully this car is super fuel efficient it looks very smart and tidy and the 540i is waaaayyyyy ahead of the 520i-530i so focus on that one instead and yeah I hope I answered your question and best of luck finding the one you like it’s honestly an amazing car for when you just wanna have a smooth ride to work or when you wanna have fun on the way somewhere😊👍🏼.

@@DRTURBO Thanks for the reply. Will definitely look into the 540's. Engine and the gearbox a well tuned together on the G30. Just a bit of a challenge to find a decent one in good condition without jacked prices from the dealerships.

The suspension is extremely smart and comfortable doesn’t feel harsh at all on bumps but potholes are a bit harsher than you’d think I remember a few days ago I was driving it and I hit a bit of a pothole and it felt like a broke the car but thankfully the car was fine

I believe the bmw 5 series overall is a much better choice it’s definitely gonna be more comfortable, luxurious, sporty and overall better looking in my opinion and no don’t worry it’s not harsh at all if you slow down for bumps it’ll be extremely comfortable I suggest you try test driving on before you buy it but I can tell you from now the 5 series is a much better car in all aspects but try them both out and see which one you like more if you need any more help let me know 😊

Your review misses lots of points. Gesture controls very well. Sports gauges go to 400hp because if you tune it goes to almost 500hp. Mine is on stage 2 tune and I do 0-100 in 3.6 seconds which is in line with really really fast cars. As far as power is concerned every BMW owners know BMW under reports HP. It’s close 360 if you put it on the dyno. Also, you don’t test 0 to 100 in just sports mode. You use launch control.

Hey if you go down far enough somewhere on the channel we have a review where I believe I cover hand gestures and sport gauges while yes it shows 400 because the 330hp it has is just embarrassing and as for stage 2 and all the tuning stuff this is my dads car that he uses to commute so naturally he’s not gonna do any of that stuff you’re talking about and as for 3.6 seconds it’s impressive but I can’t imagine the amount of money one has to spend to get this car to this level of power and if you didn’t pay much then you didn’t upgrade must the stuff that needs to be upgraded making your car extremely unreliable or not I’m no mechanic but most guys that think dyno numbers resemble real road numbers they probably are and just so we are on the same page there’s no such thing as launch control in the BMW 540i m-kit never seen or heard of it but please let me know how it’s used in detail on a 2018 bmw 540i so I give it a try thank you 😊

@@DRTURBO launch control , put car in sports mode , push shifter knob to left on trip tronic / Manuel mode , put both foot on the brake and gas pedal revving the engine while holding the brake and the launch control icon will appear on your gauge. Once that appears , take off ! 🚀

Yeah I believe so too but that engine is definitely not the strongest they have and this car isn’t built as a “sports car” it’s more of a luxury comfort car than anything else
