Bought this boat in 2023. I could not be happier. This is my 5th boat in 50 years and it is my best boat to date. I could afford larger, faster more expensive boats; but none of them would be a better boat. In my seventh decade I have finally found the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.

There is no better designed or built boat the Boston Whaler. Speaking from experience, I have owned four plus a half dozen other boats as well.

@@PowerBoatTV Again, the redesign comes from some options such as cushions all through the front & even more useless options that are so unnecessary & generally unwanted/considered. Just be aware of what they/he calls a redesign ;) Cheers

soo many years that the Montauk has been one of the ugliest boats I've ever seen. I mean they've updated soo many other boats so they are prettier. It's just so ugly

Totally redesigned ? What are/were you talking about ? I know these boats, obviously better than you do from your description. Are you being paid to say this ? or just to pick up some views ? You have to know better. Period

You know nothing! It is totally redesigned! I am not a salesman or connected with boston whaler except I'm one of the most knowledgeable with the 13 to 21 foot models. It's 4 inches longer, 5 inches wider, has a deeper hull, weighs more, has a built in 25 gallon tank. 2 storage compartments in the front not 1. Individual seat options in the rear, available low stainless steel rails in front and back as another option. The trailer has brakes because of the added weight. It's a much improved model over the 2017 which was also a good boat. They fixed all my gripes about the older model. For someone who knows better than he does you are wrong! Period.
