I also carry: A full set of AT Fuses, a Scissor jack ( Any junk yard has a ton of them) , 8''x8" x3/4" plywood or plastic plate for under the jack, breaker bar for the 19mm lug socket, spare reading glasses for us old dudes, 1-2 cloth shop rags, LED Head lamp, work gloves.

Great tool ideas!!! Just bought a Maverick X3 4- seater for the family and watching tons of videos of how people set up there riding bags. Would suggest into possibly getting a small car jack in case you have to get the tire off for some reason.

A few more trail box must haves.small hatchet with hammer on one end,hack saw,blunt punch,pointy punch,small chisel for tapping on stripped or broken hardware. fold up a piece of heavy cardboard and stuff it in your bag (6'x3' works good) to lay on or sit on while working in the dirt,mud,snow rocks etc. you can lay removed parts on it also and push removed bolts into it to prevent loss. those dollar store windshield shades also work good for laying on and fold up nice.

Nice Bruce those are all good suggestions. I do have a small Hatchet Hammer saw a multi-tool. I will get some cardboard that's a really good idea👍

Morning! Great video. Kind of off topic, but have you done any adjustments to the suspension yet? Unless I missed it somewhere in another video. Seems like mine is pretty stiff right out of the factory and thinking of doing some adjustments. So I’m looking for how-to’s and recommendations. Thanks..
@pmutah7 жыл бұрын
+Justin Nagrassus thanks for the comment I have done some adjustments. a good place to start is with the fox Pro tune. look it up on KZbin it shows an X3 jumping through the air.👍

Brandon Pierce excellent. Thanks for the info Brandon. Keep up the good work.

+Justin Nagrassus typically I want it as soft as possible without bottoming out. when I went to Mexico had a bunch of extra weight on the back and I had to keep adjusting it up until it stopped bottoming.
@jray72657 жыл бұрын
Brandon Pierce yes! That sounds exactly what I’d like to do. Like you, I run a lot of Rocky trails, here in Colorado though. It just seems to stuff. I’m just not familiar with how to adjust these shocks and looks like a lot of work. Lol. That would be an awesome video for you to put together Brandon! Just sayin. 👍🏻

Nice pack Brandon!!! Might I suggest checking out a RedOxx bag for the trails, they have a lifetime warranty along with grabbing a Bubba Rope & Bubba Gator Jaw shackles to lighten your load. Also one more addition of an 40v or 80v electric chainsaw would be great for bad trails. You don’t have to deal with carrying fuel and liquids spilled on your machine.
@pmutah6 жыл бұрын
Alexander those are great suggestions. I will check out that bag and the Bubba rope and the gator Jaws shackles. I already have an electric chainsaw and I love it. I'll be posted a video of me clear some trail here soon 😎👍 thanks Brandon

Nice.!! What kind of tire jack do you have.? I. I bought a high lift Jack for my Can Am X3 xrs.. Still trying to figure out where to store it..
@pmutah6 жыл бұрын
I don't bring a jack with me. Usually we can just find some uneven ground and have one guy push on my side by side and we can get a tire on and off no problem. I also usually have a winch. But if you have Can-Am spare tire mount they're Jack mounts right to the top of it. it's a nice setup
@treasureseekerintheway35156 жыл бұрын
If you are in any type of vehicle you should have at least one fire extinguisher. Also, I would recommend a ratchet as well...batteries die, stuff happens. A tire repair kit. Also, don't just get a generic medical kit. Because then when you need it, you are screwed. Take the time to build a proper first aid kit. Skinny medic on YT is a great resource in that arena. My .01

Toilet paper, tree saver about 5 ft long, they are useful for other stuff as well. I also have a tiger tail on all my machines. If not a tiger tail you need to at least ad the hook to the back of the X3.
@pmutah7 жыл бұрын
+kbc74747 nice these are great suggestions. I did not think of toilet paper. but I should have I was looking into the tree saver straps today and I think I will get a couple of those. I just looked up the tiger Tail looks pretty cool. I thought about changing that back plate to either a hook or a trailer hitch receiver. how did you mount your Tiger Tail?
@kbc747477 жыл бұрын
Brandon Pierce there are several options right on Tiger Tail web site but i just use the hitch receiver one. And toilet paper, my buddy taught me this from the beginning, have never needed it but when you do and don’t have any, well then it’s priceless.
