I am one happy camper! Been trying to find the drain plug on my `16 570 Outlander rear diff for about a year. I bought it with 25hrs. and never been serviced. I finally found the front drain plug but you helped me find the front. I`d help if my vision was better but these drain plugs are in the sneekiest places. jmo Thanks much.

hey bud nice video thankyou needed it to help me out on how to get new oil in.... 2 things from all the forums ive read 75-140 for the rear and about 1/2 inch below the fill hole not up to it
@LCPowersports5 жыл бұрын
thanks man yea you gotta keep a check on these diffs my rear has got water in a few times.
@destinhook38263 жыл бұрын
ONLY fill your rear diffs to 1 1/4” below the fill hole! Other wise you’ll blow out the seals from overfilling!

I here a lot of people complaining about the rear diffs and I’ve seen first hand that they will self destruct. Is there anyway to bullet proof them and make them much more reliable. Thank you.
@LCPowersports5 жыл бұрын
I've had one go out already. It failed from the shaft seal going bad and eventually ruined the pinion bearing. They best thing if found is keep a close watch on the seals clean then every time you ride and change the oil every few rides if you do a lot of water a day mid riding. Or buy a billet diff lol
@destinhook38263 жыл бұрын
@@LCPowersports I know ima year late, but I had the seal go bad pretty quick on mine. After some research on forums, you only fill the rear differential to 1 1/4” below fill hole. If you fill up to the hole, you over fill it and blow out seals prematurely!

Can you do a front diff fluid change video?!

I sure can.

Nice vid, but 75W-90 is for FRONT DIFF and 75W-140 for REAR DIFF. 🧐 Plus in the rear diff should be less oil. Check manual.

dude, 75w-140 for the rear. and 75w-90 for the front!!

I have a 19 Outlander 850 XT. what size are those Cryptid’s and how do they do in snow and for trail riding? Do you recommend these tires? Thx for any feedback.

Haven't done any snow riding but everything else they do great I love them. I was running 29.5 outlaw2s before them

Ever have any issues with the diff after having water in it? Ever figure out where the water is getting in? My input seal is moist with oil so I’m guessing that’s where I’m getting water in the diff.
@LCPowersports4 жыл бұрын
After I got it rebuilt its been good. I just change the oil in it often. I think it got some in it from a bad seal. I try to check it after every time I ride in the water or mud.

LC Powersports hoping not to have to go the rebuild route! Going to pull it and replace the seal.

A while back you did a video of a bracket lift and wheel spacers on the defender xmr. You didn’t get back to us! You mentioned you had rub before the lift slightly, after you installed did you still have rub and did it measure a true 2” lift after you ran it?
