Jeep needs to make a no-frills model with all of the off-road goodies that come on the Rubicon (axles, sway bar disconnect, etc). Crank windows, no ADAS, no power seats, just the things that matter for true off-road.

Bring back the option of body-colored fenders on all trims - it’s ridiculous to have to pay at least $57500 for a 2-door Wrangler in order to avoid black plastic fenders.

They should put a V8 in a Gladiator. They do in a Wrangler, why on earth would they NOT offer it in their "truck"? Some of us are absolutely okay with paying for the fuel economy. This whole "electrification" BS is just an agenda. Period. Thats all it is. Fossill fuels and Lithium are BOTH bad for the environment. Stop it with the games, follow the money....this is why the CEO suddenly exited because people are abundantly fed up. If Jeep is "listening", then offer a damn v8 in the Gladiator ffs.

Aussie dealers asked for the v8 in the wrangler to come to Australia, the 392. Didn’t even make it available for us. Jeep in Melbourne has shut down and moved from the busiest road off all the dealers. Jeep is the only one leaving, no one here wants to pay $100k for a 2l turbo . We want v8. If they don’t listen go buy another brand with a v8

Question for you since you'd be the one to know, I have a 24 with 6,800 miles and when I run 87 octane I get spark knock under load. I started running 91 and it seemed to stop. Why do they call to only run 87 when the new pentastar v6 is relatively high compression? And funny enough I got my first cel the other day and it was for multiple high voltage codes and a weird code for the fuel temp sensor. I reset the codes checked my fuses and a few were not seated well but the cel never came back. Where the hell is the fuel temp sensor?

I think many of us would appreciate more offroad performance options on lower end models, things like dana 44 axles with lockers, and better tires, for most people, it doesn’t make sense to buy a 60k rubicon and then go offroad to beat it up.

You mentioned the cost cutting has effected the quality. The last 2-3 days, I’ve been looking for what I’m about to trade my 2024 Rubicon in for because I don’t feel the quality is there. I have less than 10k miles and I already have a pulley bearing squeaking, it’s shredded a belt, multiple times it has told me aux switches not available because battery is charging, and I feel air hitting my arm through the edge of the door. For over $60k, I expect not to have any of those issues.

I agree. I have a 2023 jlu rubicon and yeah the quality is not there .. first winter the sqeaking from the rear suspension was brutel in cold weather. I've since spent 13kcdn on a 2 1/2" lift with falcon 2.0 shocks and steering stab.. and haven't had a problem with noise this winter thus far. I understand it is a jeep and there is some amount of noise and roughness .. but it was brutal last winter. I had a 2011 sahara that was 100% better, but I wanted a rubicon for the diffs, gears, and swaybar dis. 85k cdn .. is it worth it? def not. Also can we stop putting bridgestone t/a all terrains on rubicons. I think rubicons should automatically come with 2 1/2 lifts with 35s.... the greatest offroad vehicle in american history and we're putting all terraine rock throwing tires on it???

Additionally, she now has an intermittent issue that the recommended action is the replacement of the transfer case. Unfortunately the part was and probably still is on restricted back order. I've owned two Jeeps and still own one of them. Since selling my wife's 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland diesel in 2019 (we were in the process of moving from Utah to the Island of Molokai), I've promised my wife "we'll buy you a Gladiator." Prices on the Gladiator went up as if there was no tomorrow. Several times I came close to buying that Gladiator, but we held off waiting for me to finish writing a book I've long been researching and writing. Both my wife and I still plan to purchase a new Gladiator. We positively will do so as long as we can get the Gladiator with the Pentistar engine and the eight-speed automatic. (I positively do not want an electric or a "hybrid" Jeep of any kind. Nor do I want a turbocharger.) Eventually we also plan to replace my 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with a new, JL Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. We've lived on Molokai since March 2019. An electric vehicle would make more sense here on an island that's 38 miles long and only 10 miles wide. But, as stated above, I've no interest in an electric vehicle. Part of the push towards electric vehicles is, honestly speaking, political. I understand why you folks don't want to get into politics, but sooner or later sane people need to speak up or the Greta Thunberg's of our planet will dictate what all of us drive. I'll be seventy-seven in March. I don't know of any twenty-one year old whose an expert on anything let alone automobile power plants. My wife and I will probably purchase two Jeeps, her Gladiator, and a new Wrangler Rubicon for me, during the 2025 model year. Both will have the V-6 engine in them. Both will be eight-speed automatics. We will probably purchase our Jeeps on the Mainland and ship them to Oahu and then to Molokai. Jeep dealers in Hawaii use ADM or ADP on top of the MSRP. We're smarter than that! Andrew McKane IV, 19 December 2024, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii.

This was BS so finally had it fixed and sold it. Found a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with Sky one touch roof. It flat tows just fine and you manually pull a lever to place transfer case in Neutral. The Bronco being wider and a tad longer did ride better, but I could not chance another transmission. I am a Jeep guy long and proud. I’ve owned 6 different wranglers, a renegade, and with my wife two different grand Cherokee’s. In recent years I’ve been afraid that features I love would be removed. First and foremost I am a manual driver. I don’t want an automatic Jeep. I want the control of my vehicle. Also this nonsense where they only stocked 4xe’s had me terrified. I am so against the electric movement but if you have to have them leave it to Toyota. I love what you said about Jeep people running Jeep. It should be people passionate about what they make. People who are proud of what they make. I learned that from my dad. He worked fourth years for Dixie and would tell us about the quality of what they produced. I do think it’s time to focus on core models that people think of when they hear the Jeep name. First and foremost for me is wrangler. Let’s offer a v6 a v8 and for the folks that like the 4 cylinder turbos, those too. Also don’t let the manuals die. I’m not thrilled with the grand Cherokee but I know I’m the minority on that. A Cherokee like the square body’s would be great as well. I was blown away and at first ashamed to admit how much I loved my renegade when I had it but a smaller suv that’s capable to let people stick their toes in the water of off roading or over landing is essential. They’re the gateway vehicular to wranglers. I enjoy the gladiators from a distance and agree, why no v8 for them? My last request for the wrangler is do one of two things. 1 make three versions a 2 door a 4 door and a stretched 2 door or 2 make three versions and it be a 2 door a 4 door and make the overlook that we saw as a concept be the third. I believe that jeep should build a jeep sport sport, what i mean by that is a true base wrangler, no ac, electric windows, especially no $2000 radio that most probably don't want.

I had no idea jeep did this with the v6. I have 18 JL Rubicon. 2 door hardtop. With the V6 auto. It's been a good vehicle. I've had zero issues with it.

Why not make a V8 Wrangler but instead of the 392, put the 5.7 in it. Make a more affordable V8 wrangler that everyone can enjoy.

I have 2 door JL with 2.0t + etorque and it's pretty quick. I've raced against several random trucks who were revving or showing off (V8s and Diesels) and my small and light Rubi (just bolt on mods no tune, rear seat removal and carpet removal) embarrassed their big and heavy trucks badly. They always behave after.🤣

They need a super base model wrangler, that still has a locker at least a rear. Maybe a Willy’s style 33’s , steel bumpers, and cost 32k. Lower the cost for option. Not $5000 for an automatic.

Glad I ordered my MANUAL 2024 Gladiator Mojave in April . Its Perfect so far with zero issues . The one thing that's a miss is he Exhaust system. It should be a Performance Exhaust. A small V-8 or the Cummins R2.8 Diesel? Heaven!

Great video and I am glad some positive changes are already happening to the company! Glad Carlos is gone. That is good that they brought back the V6 with Auto Transmission, but $4500 is crazy. Not sure if is just a Wrangler option costing this much at the moment. When I got my Gladiator in 2020, the upgrade charge to get an automatic transmission was $2000. Hopefully it is not going to cost more.

Tbh im not a jeep or american car buyer, but yah nobody was listening or wanting it. Would love an xr rubicon JT, diesel comeback. Diesel just on the rubicon. a 5.7 all aluminum v8 that runs regular with factory 35s and 4.88 would return semi decent fuel economy. A 2 door gladiator rubicon with a 6.5 bed would also be awesome! Factory rear seat delete option on a JL 2door.

I own a 2021 Wrangler EcoDiesel in the Sport edition. It was affordable not cheap but not expensive. I paid $42,000. I love the diesel engine. It has loads of torque and the fuel economy is not bad. I average over the course of a year about 23 mpg. There is no way I will buy a new Wrangler unless Jeep can come up with something absolutely irresistible. They haven't done that.

If you do the research, the fines on the 392 dodge paid per year pail in comparison to the fines paid on the 5.7 hemi. 392 is a great engine in the Jeep model and I own 2. A gladiator price tag makes sense with the 392. The wrangler 392 is too high. As an owner, for the price point auto up and down windows maybe. Just more options that make the $ worth it. I won’t trade my 392’s but Jesus they cost me.

Had many jeeps over the years from J10 pickups to multiple wagoneers, and wranglers. My current 2018 JLUR is outstanding with the 3.6 auto. Jeep going back to its roots would be a great start. Focus on the off-road value with big power, low end torque and cool color options. Ford went that route with Bronco and sucked in many of the off road community away from the waining jeep market. I would really like Jeep to get back to building the iconic Jeep again.

Make that blue Gladiator two door TFL featured several years ago on the Easter Safari. Column shifter with a bench seat, or even rotary dial like Ram 1500 uses. A two door Gladiator with a 6’ bed would sell like crazy. Give it 35” tires on steel wheels.

I understand the 394 is going away so it's a mute point but I wish someone could explain to me why if I order a grand Cherokee you could go from a 3.6 to a 5.7 for about 3k yet in a Wrangler it cost 30k to go to a V8. Why? The 5.7 wrangler for 3k would have been a game changer for jeep

We own 3 jeeps 2 4xes and a gladiator. I’m getting rid of the gladiator. We absolutely love the 4xe and want a JT version badly. The 4xe torque is 💩ing on the v6. Starting now, every gladiator needs floating rear axle, built in trailer control, V6, 4xe, V8 and diesel options PERIOD!

I'm glad to hear Jeep is coming back, I've heard Jeeps are having problems being sold out west... but in Oklahoma good used Jeeps don't stay on the dealer lots over 30 days in most cases (except 4 cylinders and EV's)... had two Jeeps sold out from under me by hours... then drove to Oklahoma City (2 hr. drive) to get my 2022 Sahara siting outside (from a VW dealer). Not sure if what I've been hearing on KZbin about Jeeps is true... Jeep Dealer in Lawton (OK) said there is no problems (except the high prices I've seen on the 2024's)

I wish they had digital instrument cluster and more consistency between products when doing a build. A good example is a wrangler rubicon x has more optioned items than a 4xe rubicon x or a gladiator rubicon x as last 2 doesn’t get 35” tires, lifted, hinge support, etc.. I agree bring more engine options back and why haven’t we gotten rain sensing wiper option like grand Cherokee? Seats have gotten a little better but it still needs to be way better and for top of the line money include heated and cooled seats different seat color choices. If they are going to keep 4xe double the battery range.
