I enjoyed your review... definitely outside the "normal" review we see on KZbin. I've been dreaming about a 1LE now for about two years and a little over two months ago, I ordered a 1SS 1LE from the factory through my local dealer. As of a week ago, it was somewhere in Ohio on a train, enroute to Salt Lake City where it'll find it's way onto a carrier to my dealer. So, I'm impatiently waiting for the call... keep the rubber side down.

Congratulations on your (almost here) new ride! That's exciting if a bit stressful, in a good way. I hope the handoff goes w/o a hitch and you're enjoying some new adventures soon. I will do my best keep the rubber down. Thanks for stopping by and sharing.

Thank you. As I mention - it's a surprising device along several dimensions and definitely worth a look. Good deals to be had too. Happy hunting.

What an enjoyable video. Unique, yet still relevant. Prices of the leftover 18's have dropped to levels that can't be ignored.

Thank you and thanks for subscribing. My guess is GM pushed units into the field to pump up their production and "sale" numbers. So, dealers are responding the only way they can. So, the 1LE is definitely worth a hard look. Happy hunting.

Great review and awesome presentation with your dialog. The 1LE is a special version of the 6th gen Camaro and it's been tempting me for a couple of years. Nice to hear a review without the excessive complaining about the visibility and sight lines. Yes, they are not ideal but most learn to easily live with it. FYI - the "light purple stripe" around the doors is part of the adjustable lighting package, you can easily change the color to whatever you want.

I can understand the temptation. The 1LE is a potent beast. At the very end of the day w/the car I figured out the stripe was mood lighting. Interesting visual touch.

Thank you for your comments and for subscribing. The focus here will always be on the experience. My newest video on an older C63 AMG celebrates the same thing. It's what we need more of heading down the road. Have a good week. Cheers.

Great video, kind of a breath of fresh air review to what I'm used to seeing. Debating between this and the 13 Boss 302 or a mustang GT PP2. You should do a review of one of those. There are t too many vids on KZbin showing the comparison between the 1LE and PP2

I'm short at 5'6". Would I have issues seeing over the hood with that dash cowl and the high side window sills?
@atastefortheroad44755 жыл бұрын
Hi Matt. Thanks for stopping by and asking your question. I'm 5'7" and had no issues seeing over the cowl. The rear 3/4 visibility is compromised, but that will be true for everyone. The metal/glass belt line is higher but not too bad. 90 degree T junctions are fine, but at 120 degrees you really can't see much. But the overall pkg is very good and if you're thinking about one you should definitely give the 1LE a go. The 6-speed is excellent. There are good deals to be had and it's a compelling package.
