Nice review, missed a few things, umbrella storage in both front doors and that mirrors fold in manually. When discussing interior colors, 3, should have mentioned the choices in leather. I have the wheat and it brightens up my 2019's interior.

I think I got extremely lucky. My dealership showed me a 2018 Impala Premier in Pearl for $20,000 AFTER taxes and everything else, final price. I of course traded in my 2012 Malibu to get it. My Malibu was a life saver when I got it and held itself to be very reliable the whole time I owned it; I wasn't even looking for a new car. I will say, as much as I like the Pearl Tricoat, I kinda wish it was like a midnight edition or something, just because white can get soo dirty. Ive never waxed my cars before but I'm gonna try to see if it'll help. But overall, for a 2 year old car, it came with the majority of the packages. It has this weird shiny black mustache looking thing in the grill, i think it's part of my front collision detection system and the white Pearl doesn't blend it in very well, but I'm happy to even have it at all. It feels like it would be impossible to crash in this car and it feels like such an upgrade, like to a spaceship, lol. But thats the amazing part. It has all the features and more than the LT in this video (clearly as its a higher trim level) and it cost me half the price as the one in the video by simply waiting 2 years. I still kinda can't believe I got it, like I was very fortunate my dealers did everything to get me that car over an old stripper that kept bothering them about how much she wanted that car 😂

Great review. 2018, the last year, so they say. It’s a very nice with some bells and whistles. I just got mine. Similar to this version but no midnight package. Chevy was promoting 20% off msrp during one week in July.

I used to have a 2012 Chevy Camaro LT with the Bumblebee package on it but had to trade it in for a 2013 Ford Fusion in October of 2016 6 months after my son was born. I hate the fusion with a passion but it's so great for my now soon to be 3yr old. My question is, in your opinion, does the impala have the look, feel, and performance of the Camaro with the safety and technology of the fusion?

Impalas should come standard with 19" wheels, optional and on higher trim levels with 20" wheels. This Midnight Edition should've had 20" wheels standard from the factory. Base model Camaros come equipped with 20" wheels standard and the newer Honda Accords offer 19" wheels. Nowadays if you want increased sales you need more standard features and options like LED tail lights, for example. The Impala is a great car that could've been even better.

J G base model Camaros do not come with 20s. The premier impala comes with a whole different rear bumper including led.

I think all Chevrolet needs is to critically upgrade and redesign it's interior and infotainment system and also it's dash board, aside that their cars look great. Competition is key guys.

kelly johns the mylink system has been redesigned. My 2015 Malibu lt had a completely different mylink. Also their system pretty much owns the competition )look it up( I currently own a 2018 camaro and 2018 impala take it from me. They are totally different than 3 years ago.

I heard rumors of an SS coming out back in 2015 or 2016. Obviously it didn’t happen, but I’d imagine it would have the same drivetrain as the XTS V-Sport. The twin-turbo 3.6 and AWD. I hope if they do come out with one it is a throw back to the 96 impala SS, 350 small block and RWD. That would be perfect.

I really like the car except for the dashboard and steering wheel, I hate the stitching on the top dash pad. Makes it look like those covers you put on older cars with cracked dash pads.

I have no truble with my 2018 impala i love her .but i owned a 1971 impala and what they have done to our cars is not improvment in any way ,there designed to be shiny and never be collectable but replaceable and dealership kob security . Look inside and outside ,under hood, hell the carpet the glass quality, the bench seats the gagues,hubcaps ,the paint was beautiful not reflctive,the headlights ,would light up 40 foot sq spaxe you could see a person walking ahead .these are designed now to be hazardous to own ,drive,repair and their stuffy,leaf collecters, with glass so thin it need little black dotts to reg the heat so it dont crack from un even temp exstreams like hot and cold
