My dad rented one of these for one of his rare business trips. He really liked it. Now, he drives a Canyon and loves it.

The 3.6L is a reliable motor with plenty of power! The Canyon is a nice pickup. I heard GM is not putting that motor in the Colorado in the future models. Not sure if it goes for Canyon also or if that is even true, but if so that is definitely another mistake by GM!

Used models are getting more difficult to find with low miles in my area! They no longer have the option for the Light Wheat Leather Interior either! So sad and disappointing that interior isn't on the 2020 models.

Thanks for the kind words! Much agreed! It wears the blue very nicely. This and the Cajun Red Tintcoat are my favorite colors on the car. It certainly throws you back and pulls much more than you'd expect!

Big mistake discontinuing Impala. Got my 2019 Pepperdust LT with light wheat leather, Bose and Nav. (Both Pepperdust and light wheat leather discontinued for 2020.) It's a keeper since there are no more larger V6 sedans except tacky designed Camry or Avalon. Your Dad should keep it.

I really enjoyed your review! I am considering buying the Impala. How would you rate the halogen headlamps? Some reviews mention the headlamps on the Impala are poor. I live in Chicago and we get bad winters. How does the Impala drive in the snow?

Glad you enjoyed it! My dad hasn't mentioned it being an issue, it also handles very securely in snowy winter weather! He hasn't driven the car in too much nasty snow situations, but every time he does it performs well!
