He really isn’t, compared to everyone else he is slow, but that’s what makes him such a great lifter. His technique is so flawless for his limb lengths, and that’s how he gets gold in snatch.

@@getstrongby4038 he means compared to his teammates lu and tian have an equal or higher squat (around 300kg)and a better deadlift even though they are lighter. tian even has a higher c&j and weighs like 12kg less. however his height and technique make him competive as a 109

@@rickyspanish5316 that's interesting I love to watch weightlifting but I'm not so knowledgeable on the technique, I've heard some people say thank zhe has bad technique for some reason

I'm sure the Chinese are training potential lifters in the heavyweight class, which they lack for decades of Olympic Weightlifting. They have established the lighter weight classes. In the future, you will see a world champion in the superheavyweight class.
