Great video, two things. Whenever taking out bolts instead of using a hammer to hit your tools you should use a rubber mallet. This will make every hit much more impactful and also reduces the change of stripping your bolts and hurting your tools. Second thing, as soon as you bring the caliper off get a bucket and place the caliper on it or use zip ties / strong string or even a shirt to tie it against your suspension. This reduces chance of blowing out a brake line since there isn’t any chances of it slipping and busting the hose. Other than that awesome, funny!

I wouldn't quite say OEM is bad. My original brakes on my 2018 charger lasted me 80k miles. When I changed them, they still had meat left on them. I replaced them with some brake best brakes from Oreily's and they only lasted me 20k miles. I replaced the rotors too and they warped way faster than the factory rotors. The only reason I didn't get factory again was because it was more convenient, and I had a friend that gave me a discount at Oreily's. Nonetheless we all have our own experiences with factory/dealership items.

What's the idea of holding the 18mm nut while loosening and tightening up the bolts ? Is it preset ?

I changed pads and rotors, now when I hit 40mph, a clicking clunking sound comes from one of the tires. Do you have any advice on what could it be?

I think so most disc brake pads jobs are very similar to replace.

2:20 neither of these bolts will come off I’ve tried everything I’m 4hrs in it’s like they’re welded in there and my rotors chipped and grooves to hell asked already i need it off!!
@DirtyDude2 жыл бұрын
Try a beaker bar or a cheater bar. We used an air impact gun so we really didn't have any issues but I know there torqued up really high. The bigger the bolt the higher the torque.
