I have the same issue with names underneath eye palettes... sometimes you can work it out by looking at the placement of a statement colour and applying both the ‘directly underneath’ rule and the ‘left to right ‘ and seeing which name fits best!

My favorite makeup items of 2018 are Pacifica’s CC cream (very light coverage that feels like skincare? Thats my best way to describe it) and Kat Von D Beauty’s Inkwell Liner. Holy dang, best liquid eyeliner I have ever used in my life!

I’m going to have to try the rose flash balm! My favs are colourpop in-nude-endo highlighter palette, also the thrive mascara and my new elf brushes! (P.S. the highlighter palette is insane. Good for any skin tone and not too glittery but makes you look ethereal!)

Merry Eve from New Jersey! I own so many of these faves! The Charlotte Tilbury product is really worth it. I can't say enough about Colour Pop either. Still need to try that Cover FX foundation. Their concealer is the best. Thanks for introducing us to all of these great product lines! 🎄🎀🎅

I have the Lilah B in b. lovely & the color is very similar to JB Flush. Flush is my favorite color JB blush but IMHO the Lilah B is more pigmented & lasts better.

I’ve got a question that may sound rude but I don’t mean it to be : how do you reconcile buying a product w clean readable ingredients like Kosas and then Cover FX or ColourPop and I can’t tell what the heck is in the stuff but it looks like chemicals ? I want to try some of their stuff, but my skin is used to all natural ingredients and I’m nervous to buy things that have less natural or recognizable ingredients. 💕

I don’t have any reconciling to do... I buy cruelty free and vegan products that I want to try. That’s it. Read up on cover fx, a lot of thought goes into their formulations.

Beautypedia, EWG, and CosDNA are good starting resources to learn about what the hell the scientific names in ingredient lists mean and which ingredients (natural and synthetic) are safe and beneficial. None of them are perfect but they can be good for getting an overview of each ingredient and links to literature references.

And yeah, CoverFX products are created with a dermatology focus so they tend to be pretty skin-friendly and they leave out a lot of potentially iffy ingredients.

The colourpop translucent setting powder is way too dark on fair skin. Very disappointing.
