I just got a pinrose trio tiny roller ball and it has lildipper & secret genius & LOVE EM! it also had wild child, but I realized it had jasmine, which somehow i dont like! LOVE those two so much! I am slowly migrating my perfumes too to cruelty free & pinrose is insanely good :)

I purchased the Derma-E product on your recommendation and I can't say enough about it. I have super dry skin. I use coconut oil on the daily to to help with skin cell turn over. I seal the deal with Derma-E which moisturizes, softens, and heals. I'm not crazy about the smell. Cucumber maybe? I wish that Derma-E would scrap the frangrance oils and scent with essential oils, but you can't have everything and I'm willing to compromise because it is so effective.

I am Brazilian and I'd never heard about Sol de Janeiro and the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. Turns out it's korean and it's not sold here in Brazil haha! But the ingredients are Brazilian, though. The pronunciation of our J is not like in jalapeño, that's the Spanish one. Ours is more like the french J as in jour. :)

I’m starting to wonder if I got a bad batch of the Bum Bum cream. It was one of the tiny trial size ones and I’m telling you, I hated the smell. It was chemical-y and fake smelling - I couldn’t understand the hype at all. Maybe I’ll give it another sniff. We’re all different of course, but normally I don’t violently despise what so many others adore.

Rhian have you ever tried Lush body conditioners or body butters? If you struggle with dry skin they’re the BEST. You slather them on as the last step in your shower routine and they’re like in shower lotions so you don’t have to apply lotion out of the shower.

You're all about cruelty free and vegan things but do you look into if brands are being 'clean'? I've recently noticed that Lush uses sulfates and parabens (even in your beloved olive branch items) and I'm really upset because I love that brand but they're putting in harmful ingredients! What do you think of that?

Nah, i'm not too worried. I did a quick google though and Lush have addressed a lot of the things you said you're upset about so maybe have a quick read if you haven't already. I absolutely love LaVanilla. They have three different perfumes, but their regular vanilla one is divine. It’s a very sensual vanilla scent, but not at all overpowering.
