You are supposed to be looking at the road, not at a screen. That's how accidents happen. I don't rely on a screen when backing up. I look in the rearview mirror and over my shoulder. Having said that, the size of the screen is inconsequential.

Otto Bauch I got a decent job plus I worked at a car dealership spent a lot of time with salesmen so I know how to get the car at a good price so money is into too big of an issue but who doesn't want to get a nice car at a fair price cuz dealers mark up cars too much

The base model GT actually comes with Brembo brakes they are just unmarked and are 4 piston not 6, I just thought you should have included that

In old school terms, a 302 IS a little V-8. My 68 Chevelle was a 396, and big blocks were commonly 400ci+, so yes this is a little V-8. They do squeeze some serious HP out of it, but it is a "little V-8"

My Dad just picked up the Completely Blacked-Out Version his dealership received. Black logo’s, etc. One Fast 6spd beautiful fastback. He called me & said, I just traded my new 250 in for a black Mustang but everything is black & it’s weird. He’s old school & I told him that was the shit! All black is a killa look for the Stang. His model came with the smaller screen in dash but that’s just less menu buttons he has to mess with. He loves it & loves the sound in Sport mode. I’ve seen vids with stock Dyno 2018 Mustangs showing 500hp at the Crank. Waaaat?

Unfortunately, the perceived perception of a nice and tight steering rack has not been a priority in the "performance" cars from ford in recent years, especially since the electronic steering is not as natural as the old hydraulic steering rack systems.

You have to choose the GT Premium as your trim level to get the 12 inch Digital LCD Instrument Cluster. The standard GT has the standard gauges.

Actually, it's even worse than that. The GT Premium does not come standard with the digital dash. You have to order the GT Premium Plus package to get all the gee-gaws. Probably worth it, though. You also get padded stitched leather along the sides of the center console which looks and feels much better than hard plastic.

Nice car but the ugly spoiler ruins the fast back design. I went with a 2018 pp GT with the spoiler delete.

Mathew Snyder its beautiful spoiler i got a lot of compliments about the spoiler its sporty and agressive looking..mustang without that spoiler its just ordinary looking mustang..so the spoiler is perfect match for mustang gt 2018..

One can buy a GT with the level 2 package and mangaride with a six speed for around 44 if I remember right. IMO, don't care for all the tech. Too many things to break. The 10 speed is supposed to be faster then the 6 speed and that's fine. I LIKE 3 pedals on the floor. Of course many these days can't drive a stick any more then they can parallel park. One more thing put the car in loud and leave it there. It's a Mustang not a Focus!

Digital gauges are not standard. You have to order the 401A GT Premium Plus package ($2,200) to get the digital dash.

I wish there were no screens in the car. Electronics just add cost and weight. In a performance car all i need is a decent radio and AC. No heated seats, no power windows/seats, no touch screens. Save the cost and weight and eventual costly repairs.

You need a new job then. I just spec'd out a very nicely loaded GT Premium with 401A Premium Plus pack, Shaker audio upgrade, Active Valve Exhaust, and the Safe & Smart package which includes the Adaptive Cruise Control AND one of the extra cost colors for $45,900. That's the same as what $35,000 would've bought you in 2005. Welcome to inflation USA!

Jumperman 1 how is it a skill set? People who drive manuals can drive automatics. The point of a sports car is performance. Automatics grant better performance. I personally prefer a manual but automatics are the way to go if you want to have an advantage

I know its nit picking but I had hoped that they would put a better looking automatic shift lever in the updated car. That thing is fugley.. .. the console shifter in my F150 is far better looking (sportier) than the Mustang.

And what is up with the NO SOUND drive by? total turn Off ! But you did provide some good information, but saying it is hard to argue with implies you dont like it and saying its Undriveable...
