Sainz in lap 1: "how the hell did I get here??" Alonso the whole race: "I miss toyota...."
@BenMcghie6 жыл бұрын
Dude, he's a world champion with no power and a relatively "meh" aero package. I bet there's days he wishes he could stay home rather than race that car. But he signed on the line and has to see it through. Do I like the occasional whine? No. Do I understand it? Oh yeah. Alonso is a tough cookie, but this has gone on too long.

ya Understand that for starters Hamilton whines when Mercedes messes up, and Vettel complains too much about blue flags and Verstappen's driving. The only reason Alonso is this way is the frustration, knowing he could win titles in a decent car and the fact that he is very ambitious. But he's improven, this year he hasn't complained about the car or engine. Also, he only had the best car once in Mclaren with Hamilton, but yet then the British team favored the British driver.

The reason why Vettel didn't got any harsh penalty, was because first lap/turn incidents are taken lightly. Going into the first corner is always messy anyway. That's why drivers don't usually get harsh penalties for running off and joining, cutting corners, hitting others or taking shortcuts like Max did. But if a someone does the same in mid-race, he is bound to have a harsh penalty. Example: Max 10 sec penalty in China. When Hamilton cut the corner Russia 2014 and in Mexico 2016 and got away with it but when max did it in the same race in Mexico he got penalized, cuz he did in the middle of the race. And many more examples to find on, So usually first lap or turn are taken lightly with light penalties. One can also say Vettel lost the downforce behind Hamilton and missed his braking just like Riccardo did in Baku behind Max.

Vettel got away easy today, no problem. But take it and leave.

cos they have the most powerful engine on the grid. That's why. has been for most of 2018. I still reckon they're cheating with their battery setup, like Benneton did in 1994.

I don't think that's the case. Most of the people in the internet community around F1 are just younger than the fans watching at home only on TV. It's mostly immaturity which is really annoying. Instead of having a debate or actually talking about the race it's just hating on the last person who crashed.

PNathan my friend, isn't just f1 community. Human being are becoming so competitive that feelings are science fiction. Instead to be positive and see the glass half full, all the time negatively and useless comments show the mediocrity most of us. Those are the best car pilots in the world so I guess know what must be done. Criticize without clue is depressing. Have a great life folks.

I love how Ferrari people on the pit lane were so angry when they saw Raikkonen overtaking Vettel 😂😂. I also love how all the Ferrari-powered cars didn't even bother defending against Vettel, yet the Ferrari fanboys were crying everywhere after Monaco because of Ocon. And a 5 second penalty? Wow causing a collision and ruining somebody's race should give you a drive-thru penalty, or at least a 10 seconds penalty. We know what "FIA" means anyway. Vettel's race and Raikkonen on the podium proves once again how Ferrari has a much better car this year than anybody else. I've said it before they can only lose both titles because of their own drivers, just like they did last year
@christianwagner72306 жыл бұрын
the only big problem is that on this track overtakes are more likely than in monaco , thats why people got mad

Tylers nope mercs are the quickest and efficient ones. That's y I think f1 is a joke. Mercs on one hand and tuna cars on the other, Ferrari being the better tuna amongst them, doesn't mean they aren't a tuna car compared to the Merc lol. chutiyapppa at it's best.

Magath 88 The top three teams are lightyears ahead of all the others
@kraft70456 жыл бұрын
It's just bullshit really, it's so unfair that there might aswell be like 2 divisions within the races since the midfield teams have no chance they may aswell just race with each other.
@LethalWalou6 жыл бұрын
Just a general comment. The sport is a pinnacle of motorsports. A way to tighten the field would be to limit the development but that would cause a huge rage amongst the fans. They opted to lower the costs by limiting the amount of engines so that smaller teams can actually afford current seasons power units. But then again, this caused rage as well even though it was a good idea. There really is no easy way to bring the top teams closer to midfield without destroying the basic idea of F1. If you think it's easy, then tell your solution. Otherwise stop acting like you have a solution and accept where we are. Words are easy to type here.

It's amazing how Bottas still managed to finish 7th despite the tire blowout. Mercedes engines along with Ferrari and Red Bull are extremely quick, others are finding it hard to compete with them. They usually collar the top six each and every race!
