A game between old SWC teams. Since the arrival of coach Patterson. Tcu has made this matchup closer & better. Still Texas is miles ahead of tcu through history.

Texas has really improved this year. Yes, the loss against Maryland was upsetting, but they were still trying to find their way. They’ve got 2 huge wins under their belt, but K-State is probably looking for an upset. Sure, K-State isn’t doing well, but Texas has a problem after big wins, they just ignore the smaller teams and then lose.

I hope we don't overlook K State. This K State game is the definition of a trap game and they always play us tough in Manhatten. With that being said, they do suck more than usual so if we come in ready to play we should blow them out like everybody else but if we come out sluggish because we are looking forward to Oklahoma they can sneak up on us and if they pull an upset that would just kill all our momentum. We need to stay focused and play one game at a time and I hope Tom is drilling that in their heads and heck if we do come out and play and beat them in a very convincing and dominant fashion we may even creep up a spot or two in the rankings and it will make the Texas and Oklahoma game more juicy than it's been in a while.
