Dont do it, ford and dodge have a lot better options and upgrades. Doesnt have AC vents in back for passengers and the DEF fluid is added under the hood... instead of by gas fill. And cant roll down windows from key fob, i could go on and on, gmc falling way behind .

Basically 2 options ,the diesel being one and the sun roof the other..$11,000 and it's a 2wd. Most people are right handed so GMC puts the trailer brake on the left side, no push button start, when the door is closed you have to put your hand through the steering wheel to access 4wd and headlight buttons (which are the same size so you have to take your eyes off the road so you dont choose the wrong one) and it has the strongest engine and the lowest towing capacity (among the big three diesels).. GMC is way behind when it come to functionality but the truck ,imo, looks awesome with the grille and hood.

My dad has one, but it's white. I drive it sometimes and for a big luxury diesel truck, it rides nice and is very quiet, you'd lightly hear it in motion. But really what I mainly like about the Denali Trucks are the signature Yacht Chrome Grille. To make it look beyond fancy. And also those rims like as y'all see there. They Look like shinny octopuses. Just neat looking trucks.

Thanks for the info! I need a truck like this and have been doing a lot of research. About GM, I'd say they look ok and have good drive trains. But digging a wad of keys from my pocket to hang from the steering column is getting old. Primitive, actually. And why are there still gaps between the console and seat for all my french fries to fall into? Shouldn't vehicles have their own internet connection by now, with real time satellite mapping? Onstar has been able to do that for 2 decades now. I have a 2014 Denali, it's a half tonne and I can still barely tell the difference between interiors. A million plastic, rubber, leather, aluminum and carbon fiber parts rattling and squeaking against each other, which I imagine would be worse in the diesels over time. Where's the R&D they were supposed to do with our bailout money? Auto 4WD, high idle switch, massaging seats, 8 and 10 speed trannies, box & cargo features (power locking tailgate, lighting, containment), heated rear seats, LED tail lights, etc. And if the Denali is the all-in model, shouldn't all options be standard? Why are there price differences between them? Grrr. The changes are so small every year, I think all manufacturers should do away with annual releases, and only release new lineups when the actual design has been updated, not just the color and chrome trim options. That's my rant for today anyway. Lol

I see where you’re coming from. This truck is expensive and it lacks some features that my $25k Chevy Cruze has lol. It’s still a really nice truck but its ending it’s lifetime. For 2019 there’s a new Silverado 1500 and I’m assuming a new 2500 and 3500 will be out in 2020. That should be up to both of our standards if it has all the features of the all-New Silverado with its power tailgate etc.

You don't have to take the depreciation on this truck if you lease one. At the end of the lease you can turn in the keys and walk away, trade for another or buy the truck out at the remaining balance. Just remember, it's not more than you need, it's just more than you are used too.

Tow ratings for this truck vary depending on if you have 4WD or 2WD and what cab and bed configuration and ofcourse if you have gas or diesel. You can tow a max of 18,100 lbs with the 2500.

@@tydrives4846 yep and I like the Yacht Chrome Grill it show good advertisements for this truck. And the rims are nice too. It kinda reminds me of an Octopus or some type of fancy Coral rock. And of course a good buddy of mine has a 2018 F450 platinum dually and of course it has the massaging seats, but besides that the new powerstrokes are fast too. But for my dad's Denali it rides smoother it's alot quicker and rides really nice and super smooth. No bumps no shakes no negative effects. But on the GMC Denali HD Trucks and the Ford super duties, there's no point on getting a dually, anything with diesel fuel should have plenty of power and strength, shew If I wanted any diesel truck I'd just get me a 2500 or 250 type of heavy duty, those are big enough for me.

fit4ya1975 I love it! The smoothest, quietest D Max I’ve ever owned. I love them all but this is really up there. The pedal vibration was figured out. Because of the hard work of the dealer and my persistence there will be a bulletin on this issue for sure.Highly recommend.

With all of the features and amenities this thing has, as well as the super high price, it's really a luxury truck, not a work truck. What does luxury truck mean? It means that this truck is for someone who wants to use a truck like a car. It's just too nice and too expensive to subject it to the rigors and brutality of work. If it were around $30,000 cheaper, then perhaps the economics of it would make it more suitable to be a work truck. After watching again, the narrator would seem to agree about its luxuriousness 12:05, "Take a look at that interior. [It's] more of a luxury car than a truck in my opinion."
