Better heat management? What a crock. I have one and it rides hotter than my 09 with a stainless 2 into 1 pipe. Not to mention trans fluid transfer. Harley dropped the ball big time on these bikes.

I can't speak to your bike but I had a lot less heat on my inner thighs than any other bike i've ridden. Maybe I got lucky but it was 110 degrees when I rode it. Are you riding the 2018 Road King Special? If not, which one? I'm curious. I'll ask Harley what's up with that and get back to you. Ride safely...

Most of that heat is coming from the huge ass catalytic converter, an EPA requirement, so don’t blame Harley. First thing I did was remove that piece of shit from my ‘17 RKS, much cooler.
