i work as a mechanic at holden and was pleasantly surprised the first time i drove this thing . its quite quick and Nimble for what it is!

Yep, and you are not the first person to say that either, and for the record I know a couple of people that own them and can't speak highly enough. At the end of the day people rubbishing things on you tube that have never driven or owned one, basing comments on what they have read, probably never even been up close, mean SFA.

I'm glad they got rid of the 3.6 and 2.4 for the 1.5T and 2.0T's both seem to pair better with the Equinox.

lol ok thanks for that info. just wished our market will learn from them and add decent high powered engines to their lineup. though with our soaring fuel prices and crappy octane fuels I'm not putting my hopes up for that happening soon. :(

I know this is 5 months old but anyway... 0-100 kmh actually is 0-62 mph so there may be a difference in time there, but there is also a millon of other factor that could be affecting the numbers.

Great performance for an suv and it sounds pretty boss too. That aside, it Would have been middle of the pack in 2013. It looks like it was created from a bunch of opel/gm leftovers.

Funnily enough the sound was the part I enjoyed the least. Sub seven seconds in a 2L SUV is pretty awesome though.

Sorry to burst your bubble champ, but Kia's warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on it's basically bog-roll with a 7 on it. MG also offer a 7 year warranty in AU.
