Happy I found your video...I have a plumpaper homeschool planner and it's great but doesn't work at 100% like I want and hate that I have to have separate planners for my everyday stuff. I was wondering how I could integrate homeschool plans in my hobonichi and I never even thought of the hobonichi notebook that I have lying around..Thank you :)

I tried a Plum planner this year also and I agree with you on two counts; having it separate from my "life" planner is beyond annoying and it's so bulky! I'm so happy to see an example of a hobo used for life+homeschool so I can see if it might work for me also - thanks!

I adore your daily spread. I’ve been looking for ideas for my bullet journal: I think I’ve found a great one in yours. Stealing!

Yay! I love how this allows me the option of seeing all the kids' work on one day without sacrificing the calendar aspect in the weekly/monthly sections. I'm still trying to figure out how to layout the blank "record keeping" part of this plan. Would you be interested in a video on that once I figure it out?

Project Happy Home I absolutely would.

I know this video is old, but I love watching your planner videos because I really enjoy - and get a lot out of - how you describe not just the planner but your thought process behind how you set up and use your planner. I like the idea of recording struggles and triggers, and I might have to steal it. As the mom of a kiddo with ADHD and just a very strong willed personality bringing more peace to our homeschool is something I'm constantly trying to figure out. I'll admit though I laughed out loud when you said one of your triggers was "illicit fire use." 😮That one might be justified. LOL.

I'm an electronic calendar girl through and through...then why do I like to watch these planner videos so much?!

You love me. And Lindsay. And Michelle. So you're being inexorably drawn into the world of planning crazies. :)

Thanks! I like how it adds a pop of color/pattern without adding too much bulk. The tomoe river paper is so thin that the stickers and wash can mess with that lovely tissue feel.

I love all of your videos, but I'm really enjoying your planner videos. I have been a bullet journal user for around three years now and it is always helpful and interesting to me to see how others plan, especially other homeschooling parents. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I think I have arrived at planner peace for homeschool planning. A lot of the premade planners just had so much content/planning prompts that I didn't need or want. Have you shared a bujo video? I want to see it!

Awesome!! I found your channel from your last Hobonichi setup. Stayed because you have such wonderful topics! Glad to see you still in the Hobonichi! LOVE how you laid out the daily page!!

Thanks so much for sticking around! Do you use a Hobo as well? I get a lot of inspiration from the Facebook groups for hobo users. Some people have amazingly artistic spreads in the hobo! I try to keep mine simple, but I dream about all that fanciness. :)

Project Happy Home I am waiting for my Cousin Avec now. I was a bit unsatisfied with it toward the end of the year, because of the lack of note space with in the planner and I am not a fan of the new 24 hour timeline nor the wasted space for the quotes. Also need better system for storing the many school papers I get with 4 kids, one of whom is ASD. Tried rings, and found I MUCH prefer the ease of being able to take my A5 with me with out all the weight and I couldn't get used to the rings. The Hobonichi was planner peace for me last year and I realized it was I who needed to adapt, not my planner. I like pretty planning up to a certain point, but I need function way more than pretty. And to be honest, your spread for the homeschool was beautiful to me, BECAUSE it was functional. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to more videos!

I love how you set it up and love the symbols instead of subjects! Great planner, simple and pretty!
@ProjectHappyHome7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, my friend! The symbols keep me centered on what actually matters - instead of getting all worked up about the loop or the set subjects. It's all learning, right? :)

True! I've been eying them, but I've resisted buying one, and I'm inordinately proud of myself. Ha! I especially want one for my A6 Hobo - my intention/gratitude journal.

Do you recommend any for an absolute beginner?

Project Happy Home - Goulet Pens, the gods of FP's, recommends the Pilot Metro or Lamy Safari. Of the two, I prefer the Metro.

I actually went back to another planning setup the next year because I missed journaling in my Hobo. But I’m toying with using it again for homeschooling next year.

Hey there- so I think I ,issued how you use the weekly and monthly section for homeschooling. Yearly overview was for birthdays and daily was more of a record keeping .. can you share for the other two sections?
@ProjectHappyHome3 жыл бұрын
If you look at my planner playlist, the Hobonichi setup videos illustrate how I use those sections. 😊

I really like this planner and not many grab my attention!! How much do these run and where do you get them? Im considering it as I love the set up and size. Thanks for this video.
@ProjectHappyHome7 жыл бұрын
The price really varies depending upon the cover and the international shipping. Of course, you could always order one without the cover, and then the cost is much less. The planner alone is about $36. I got the split version with one book for Jan-Jun and one for July-Dec, and that runs about $40. Sorry, I had the old store link in the original description - here's the correct store link: www.1101.com/store/techo/en/

Hi! I really need an all in one planner too..for HS and personal appt., etc. Is the hobonichi worth it? How are you liking the setup? This version is only in Japanese?
@ProjectHappyHome6 жыл бұрын
Yes, I believe that this A5 size is still only in Japanese. But I don't mind at all, weirdly. And I got the A6 in English (for intention/gratitude journaling), and I really dislike the English translations of the quotes. I think the Hobo is 100% worth it - the costly part is the cover, but you can reuse that year after year. Thanks for watching!
@elenav26616 жыл бұрын
Project Happy Home - thanks so much. I since did more research and it seems the original will fit my needs. I’ll try it for the rest of the year and if it works, then I’ll go all out! So you ordered straight from the HOBO website? Good customer service? I appreciate your help.
@ProjectHappyHome6 жыл бұрын
Yes! I haven't had any problems from their website - and this last one was my 3rd order. If you fall in love with the tomoe river paper, you may want to check out blank journals from Nanami Paper as well. I'm an enabler. Lol!
