Thanks a lot Bobby for such an excellent review. I watched your review along with many others of the Honda brv before buying it and I must say that I have found yours to be the most accurate and the truest one from the whole lot. I really enjoyed watching your review as I was very easily able to relate myself with many things you said in the review and in the way you put them. I feel great so far about the car for the very same reasons as you've described in the review. I have subscribed to your channel, keep it up. I'll use your video as a benchmark and share it with all who are seriously looking into buying this car. Hats off to Honda truly. Great job Bobby keep it up, stay blessed. 👍

+Umer Khayyam Khan thanks for the kind words. I decided to do videos like this because when i myself was thinking of buying a car, all i get are reviews that try to get as much hits as possible so they all limit it to 4-8 minutes which i ended up watching 20-30 clips from all around the world trying to help me conclude my opinion. And there are also many that focuses on beauty shots and scripts. Thanks for being able to see my initial intention. Hope you can help me share and ask friends to subscribe. Cheers! We also run the emagazine at evomalaysia.com; a revolutionary magazine that you dont need to download or subscribe or signup or pay. Just read.

Thank you Bobby for that excellent review of the Honda BR-V. Only a few days ago I had no idea about this car. I'm in Bangkok Thailand and I have only seen a few on the road. I did not know anything about the vehicle. Today I test drove a second hand one with only 5400km. The moment I sat in the drivers seat and put my hands on the steering wheel I was impressed. When I test drove it with five normal seized people in the car, the acceleration was very good. I have never drove a car with a CVT transmission before. You have to let the engine rev up to really get the vehicle to move but it does quite well. I bought the car today thinking I may have made too quick of a decision. Now after I saw your review I am convinced I have made the right choice. Oh and I was able to save $4000 USD or 1.3k BHT. Compared to buying a new 2017. I think I am going to enjoy having the BR-V. Thank you again! Hope your neck feels better!! BTW this one is white in colour. I would have liked silver but in Thailand white is the most popular color for vehicles.

Would be nice if we got a real review of the BRV where you bring a whole family for a drive somewhere and see how it fares with real life situations. Wife and kids add weight to the car, and see how the car handles on speed bumps. That glare situation you mentioned could be something of a safety issue, given Malaysia is either sunny all the time or raining all the time. How the back passengers feel about the air-con ventilation. In the end get everyone's' experience and maybe their own rating on the BRV. I'm seriously considering on getting a new car. The BRV is definitely in the list. Thanks for the review Bobby!

I own a Toyota Vios for 6 years and would like to upgrade to a 7 seater now for family use, but at the same time, I hope it looks cool, and sometimes powerful (i understand it's just 1.5 and 7seater), I hope it doesn't struggle too much to climb to Genting lol. i got the V spec variant with the Modulo Bodykit 2 months ago. I must admit, first time buying a Honda car, i am very impressed with BRV. Not underpowered when ferrying 7 adults. No more bad fume coming into cabin & no rattling dashboard sound issues. With Modulo, my BRV looks more sporty altho i am not planning to race with it or anything hahaha! My next car to replace aging Myvi will be definitely a Honda car. Honda City hybrid i-DCD 2017 perhaps. No way i am looking back at buying Proton or Perodua cars anymore.

Sir Bobby, two quick questions and hope you could find the time to answer them. Comparing Honda BRV to Toyota's Innova Diesel variant, which is a better candidate for day-to-day city driving in terms of practicality and function? Secondly, would you recommend the Toyota Innova or Honda BRV for a family of five adults with two babies? Thank you very much. Hope you get to see this and I sincerely await your reply.
@BobbyAngmalaysia7 жыл бұрын
If you need more space then it's definitely the Innova. But it doesn't drive half as well as the BRV. The BRV on the other hand is nimble, has good handling, but i doubt in terms of power and efficiency it can be matched to the Innova.

this might be so late to ask... but if you have tried Sienta, which one is more worth? but we know sienta is discontinued now
@BobbyAngmalaysia5 жыл бұрын
I actually find Sienta quirky and fun but it is clearly a JDM product, this type of product category doesn't suit Malaysians. Whereas the BRV is so cleverly executed albeit sacrifices some of the utility in order to look like an SUV to be more easily accepted by Malaysians. For cars of these size, in order to maximise space, it will have to end up looking like a box on wheels, which is what the Sienta is, or the Honda Freed introduced 10 years ago. But these form factors are not accepted in Malaysia as we prefer SUV looks. So i would say in Malaysia, the BRV is the one worth while.
