I feel bad for people that take their cars to scammy techs, that part was under warranty. That person was ripped off by somebody.

I always use factory original parts. Of course with my 2022 CRV it has been flawless since new. I will keep Hondas. I previously had 3 different F.O.R.D.s and ALL had recalls and other issues

the toolcraft organizer ratchet holders have that lip that prevents you from pulling the ratchets straight out…SJW seem better and more compact
@TEVIDEOS15 күн бұрын
Honestly it's just a matter of getting use to how they come out and go in. Tool Crafts are nice because the magnet kinda pulls the ratchet into place. Just need to set the head in at a slight angle and she slides in. Tool Craft also has a few different styles.

Does the underbelly really need the protection? None of my cars have ever had the plastic parts on the underbelly

Which Milwaukee impact were you using on the lug nuts? The 2967?

Question what direction for the crush washer for Hondas? Flat side towards drain plug or towards oil pan?
@TEVIDEOS9 күн бұрын
Honestly doesn't matter. I always but the flat side towards the pan but have never had issues either way

some filters come pre-lubricated.

Genuine Hondas don’t and they are trash filters

Not everyone buys the warranty or even knows what is covered, i got a “limited warranty “ and they couldn’t even tell me what was covered

I hate the OEM tray fasteners and clips, Honda specs the softest aluminum available for the screws. I replaced all the clips with stainless M6 threaded captive nuts and all the fasteners with plated 10 milly hex head screws in my ‘21 CRV. No more cammed out phillips heads or quarter-turn scroogies.
@thecloud143213 күн бұрын
Ideally you want fasteners that are removed frequently to be soft. Better to wear the fasteners than the threads on the frame.

lol sends 3.7 for sure over filled. And this is why it takes hours at a dealership to get your oil changed. 😂😂😂 unbelievable
@Hondamdfan15 күн бұрын
If they only do their oil changes at least twice a year, that engine will have a chance to go 200k miles

that looks like A LOT of oil.

I noticed that also. seemed like 5 quarts.

Nice little paranoia about the last Honda oil filter you installed for ya bud. Lol hopefully I'd know about the plastic piece of death by now..
