2018 Honda HR-V EX quick review

I purchased one two months ago and sometimes I drive it just because as if it was a toy 😁. I LOVE THIS CAR MORE THAN ANY OTHER CAR I OWNED.

Not going to lie, if you're a Honda Fit person, you'll love this as an upgrade. Its higher and has more room being much longer. I know people can say it has no power or whatever, but this care wasn't built for horsepower, its built for convenience. I don't mind the pricing for it and the gas saving is amazing on this car. I had a 07 Honda Fit Sport and this was a good upgrade for me. People do put this down but you guys have to drive it to experience it your own way. Thanks for this review, Justin!!

You're exactly right, I had a 2012 Honda Fit Sport and loved it, except it was CVT with the paddle shifters... only negatives for me was no moonroof and kinda gutless getting on the freeway but not too bad. I made it up and over Teton Pass with it :) but I upgraded to a HR-V with a 6-speed and totally able to access the power easier and it's not bad at all. Definitely not a Civic SI or a Type R but it's decent for what it is and the room and magic seats all are awesome!

Can u program a garage door opener from the rear view mirror on the 2018 HVR Honda my car only has a power button in the middle of two squares and the one to the left is lite up green.

Hey J, great vid. I saw other ppl asking the same question but no reply so I thought I would try my luck. Is there a way to get Apple Car play or at least a way to mirror my phone so that I can get my Waze or Google maps on the screen? I’ve tried to contact my phone with my Apple USB but no luck. As far as I know, there's a head unit that has "navi" navigation built in, that like the EX-L models got, I'm not sure why they didn't just include Android Auto/Apple Car Play in every head unit of every trim. Kind of a bummer.

It is a Honda, so I would say yes. The engine in this vehicle is the exact engine that was in the Civic for several years. And the general platform the car is based off is from the Honda Fit. Both very reliable vehicles.

I am looking into a used HRV. Have always been impressed with the longevity and reliability of Hondas. Hoping this car will meet and exceed all expectations. I did read a few reviews that mentioned the drive was "noisy". Any opinion?
