Walt Disney ok so one time i was running for a bus and i run really fat and it cane out of my pocket while i was running it falled on Concrete and it bounced couple of times and starrted to slide ... and it didnt cracked (no protective glass or case...) before that i had bunk beds and they are about 2m tall and my sister kicked it out of my hands it falled on hard wooden floor and once at my cousns house he has concrete floor and tables in hes yard and we were playing pa4 and i accuidently made it drop eith my hand(so to speak) multiple times and that last time it opened (like when u remove screws on a bottom i just putted it together... and it wasnt even scratched after all that (screen tho the sides were scratched a lot...and the back has little cracked lines barley visable ) it broke finaly in the damn school from a fall from a waste size (considering i am 170cm) coz one girl pushed ut while it was charging ...

I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.

I may be in the minority, however, I wish the 2018 iPad pro had kept the thickness of the 2017's (or gone a little thicker) and exchanged the sides for stainless steel like the iPhones have. That way they could increase battery life with a more efficient chipset, retain the headphone jack, and still move to USB-C, all while putting out a more durable product (fear of bending in a backpack is a legitimate concern, though everything else seen here is pretty unrealistic to the average user)

To be fair, I doubt your home on a couch or bed will have a concrete floor. It's most likely carpet, rug, hardwood, etc. You made a curved display iPad Pro 2018. I would've been a bit more concerned to bend this; especially with that smell. It's likely the battery could've exploded. As with any expensive electronic, portable device, it makes sense to spend the extra money and get a good quality case and screen cover. I actually got a bit of anxiety watching you drop this. I've been really wanting to get an iPad since I've never had one before. But watching this makes me a bit concerned in terms of durability.

Honestly, a lot of folk have marble flooring or tiles etc. Wooden flooring is extremely rare in some places of the world. A case should do good. It's a great looking device, but that comes at the cost of durability. I'd still buy if i had disposal cash.

Yeah. And it always depends on the way it falls. I had an iPhone 6 that fell from my bed and shattered the display. And a few days ago I dropped my iPhone 6s from head level and it didnt shattered. So these "drop tests" are kinda dumb lol.

Vall Ey I’ve had my MacBook Pro 2017 13” for 1,5 years know, and it still looks like new. I’ve had my iPad Air 2 for 2,5 years now, and it also looks like new, except for the scratches on the screen, which you can’t do anything against. It’s from normal use. I’ve had my iPhone XS Max for a month and a week now, and it too looks like brand new, even though I haven’t had it for as long. I must note, my iPhone 6s which I had before my iPhone XS Max was indeed beaten up, but I didn’t bother being too careful with it. As you can clearly see, I try to maintain my products for as long as possible.

@@user-dv1bl5eb3v Screen protector actually not really guarantee it will save your screen from dropping, it just save from high scratch, I understand that after knowing my brother and cousin phone main screen still cracked even hv tempered glass. For case it sure will help reduce the shock but little bit, not completely guarantee can save it, especially the screen. That's why I still worried about it. To be honest this is the first time I really want to buy iPad Pro since it really beautiful and it use same design like the old iPhone (I like the flat bezel like that), and the screen ratio become 3:2 like a paper. But after knowing how bad the durability is, I thinking again about spent that much money for something that didn't hv guarantee it will survive long enough.

I refuse to buy hardware that is thin to the point of ridiculousness . Give me a decent sized battery , some structural integrity , a bit of Decent sized bezel to hang on to it with ..... My sister has a iPad Pro 11in from 2018 since it came out, and it has been dropped multiple times without a case onto tile and its surprisingly not dented on the corners too badly, and the screen protector that was on the screen saved it.

I've had mine for 2 months... I dropped it less than a foot and it cracked horrible tonight. I can see some of the hardware.. and the top right corner is chipped. I've had 4 ipads, and iphone phones since the 4. Never had a phone break. I've dropped them way worse. This hardly falls and bam. I'm so upset. $500 through apple to repair. Waiting till monday to see what they charge through insurance.
