I used to play with my best friend over 4 years ago on Minecraft, we ended up wanting to meet up. He sadly passed away a few days before the date and now this video gave me the memories we shared. Honestly I'm glad I found this video.

@@kel3059 Not at all what they meant. The people we have met in the past, are not the same people they are now, and No location will ever stay the same, despite what it may appear. Our memories of each place, person, etc is out of reach, because they've already changed.

Honestly I mostly get the nostalgia feeling over the old music for Minecraft, not the game itself, because of how much it has changed over the years 😔

Stop missing the past. If you miss the past right now, it means you're not busy enough and aren't focussing on achieving your dreams. If you wanna get somewhere in life, accept that the past is gone, and move on with your life.

I'm speaking to the 'I miss [insert year here], life sucks now' and the 'I wanna go back to [insert year here]' crowd. Obviously you should work to accept your past and use it for a better future. I'm telling people not to get stuck in the past. @@NigelUltra Except they're correct, life does fucking suck now, and i WOULD rather go back to a specific time where it didn't suck absolute ass. I'm not a fucking extremist, I'm just not a pro-futurist who constantly thinks things get better if you forget about what went wrong. Back in 2018, I didn't have to worry about 1. My rights being stolen from me 2. Nuclear fallout 3. Intelligent AI Powered Military Technology 4. Being shot for looking at a person wrong 5. The other shit thats been politically relevant for the past 2 years. Sure, don't LIVE in the past But they aren't LIVING in the past, they're expressing their great desire for things to go back to the point where they were. That's not the problem *I'd* like to post a reply to a half baked comment, without the aforementioned extremist* being a dickhead about it. Chasing your dreams and focusing on whatever whatever to lock out the current events, doesn't fix the fact that life has definitely taken a decline. Nor does it take away the fact that OBJECTIVELY, the previous years were better. Read my comment again, and Don't add idiocy and ignorance to it.

In the end of the video, my point was that it’s okay to reminisce on the past, and it’s okay to miss it, but that there will always be better things to look forward to in the future as well, and we can’t *live* in the past and let it consume us constantly because we’ll miss out on the present. There is always something good, you just have to look for it and choose to not let things get the best of you 💚

you are old enough to know that this world existed before you did right hahaha. no times are special only your memories from those adolescent years. dont sit here and be nostalgic for a time that was not even that long ago, enjoy the present and in 10 years more time you will feel the real nostalgia from these years you are going through now.
