lol people been off roading in all sorts of conditions and never worried about mud or sand or something getting in their gas tank. The cap screws tight enough to prevent gas vapors leaking out, it can stop mud.

Will this build require a 4.10 axle ratio? Correct me if I’m wrong but the Sport S comes with 3.45 and adding the 35” tires may not be a good idea.

Looks good. I hear alot of bad things about the mopar lift, like the springs becoming misaligned, the bushings coming out of the control arms. If I buy a lift from another company. Warranty will be voided. So what is mopars lift really like? Or is it a bad choice... Thanks Bill

Mopar needs to make a cover/sleeve for the roll bar, thats the only quirk i have with the JL that i cant stomach

CJ, what wheels do you like better on a JLUR and 37s, the Mopar Beadlock (simulated) or the AX202?

Personally i like the ax202 wheels due to the backspacing and that you can run wider tires without any rubbing. -matt

Tim Budd just because it's a sport doesn't mean it isn't trail worthy or couldn't see trail time, in fact a lot of people prefer sports and build them to suit ( ive been on both sides of the argument ) ... but the fact that a large majority of new jeeps aren't wheeled supports your argument ... side steps are still stupid, grab the handle and pull yourself in lol

I hear ya, man, and I've done that exact thing with 4 different Jeeps in my time. I was talking specifically about the JL in the video...it just doesn't seem (and I could be wrong) that this particular rig is being built for heavy trail use. Just my opinion. As for the side steps, yep, bad idea all around. lol

www.pacode.com/secure/data/067/chapter175/s175.80.html what this basically says is if the mirrors were original equipment from the manufacturer they're required. Quadratec sells a mirror kit that drops into the top door hinge when the doors are removed to make it legal again. Unfortunately it's going to come down to the discretion of the officer and their interpretation of the law. I live in central PA and myself and friends have never been pulled over for not having our doors on. If the cops near you are stricter maybe a set of tube doors with mirrors is a good idea. Hope this helps.
