Gave it a thumbs up as usual. It would be nice to hear the golfers too, along with the excellent commentary. The National Doubles, played in March, at Round Rock Texas years ago, yielded some high wind conditions (similar to this round) which definitely altered disc selection and execution. Tough to be aggressive.

Jomez, I love that you are trying new things! I liked being able to see the hole stats and scores live. Some of the animations felt like they were a little jarring (slowing them down a bit might help?), but I think it's a fantastic overlay overall.

Great stuff but why the rush? Bring back that in between the holes music and leave the edit time at the usual half hour. The longer edits had always made me feel more connected to the round, like I was really there or something. This faster style makes me feel more like Im watching a highlight reel almost. As always, we all appreciate the amazing coverage, but dont be afraid to slow it down a little

how are the new PDGA rules followed for putting the disc? you cannot just put it in the cage from 1-2 feet without releasing it - if the PDGA rules state that the disc must be released from hand before it touches the cage then why is it still not followed? many, of course will say this is a stupid rule, but if you play a tournament sanctioned by PDGA then even such ridiculous rules must be followed. or am i missing something?

They've had those tho. I doubt DGI negotiated a better deal with KZbin so what's DGI doing? There's fewer plugs for the disc sponsors and my honest assessment was that DGI was there to bring in ad revenue. People are already suspicious of their organization and fewer ads makes me think that they're just running a scam of some sort.

For the record I have a degree in mass media and broadcasting and have worked with the likes of ESPN and independent broadcasters. When I heard about DGI I had my old college friend look into it and make an assessment of what they were doing. We both came to the idea that jomez was likely using DGI as an agency to bring in advertisers from different markets, which is what DGI claims itself, but the fact they have players on the payroll and I don't see much of an ad difference in these vids it leads me to believe DGI is some sort of money laundering scheme. I could be wrong but we'll see. Maybe next month McBeth and Wysocki are going to be representing Coke and Pepsi

This is the first time I've gotten real ads on their vids. I'm not sure how much they were getting from the disc companies. I do know that you'd have to have a pretty high view count to get any substantial earnings from KZbin's ad revenue. Disc Golf vids don't pull near enough views to justify not running the disc company ads as well. I hope the people hitching their wagons to this agency aren't getting shafted. It's too early to tell though.

Head wind uphill. You hear Big Jerm loosing his mind that Eagle and Simon parked it and it's only 430 ft. It was insane headwind and uphill. Earlier in the round Nate blew past a basket throwing low power saying the 380ft played like 150. Conditions matter.
