2018 Macungie Truck Show Walk Around (Part 1)

Welcome to the annual Macungie truck show! In this video, I do some hiking around Macungie Park admiring the +300 trucks that showed up to glisten in the sun! Such trucks included antiques/rare models including Marmon, Brockway, White, Diamond T, and Reo! Various other rigs included BJ and the Bear, "Lil Pete," (mini Peterbilt) and the "No Hood Mafia" seen at the beginning of the video. (The 3 local Mack cabovers) Sit back and watch this amazing and historic truck showcase, and stay tuned for the convoy in part 2!

First off, thanks for filming this. Awsome job. Now a observation from a truck obsessed person, me. 3:06 a Unicorn of the show.. Chevrolet cabover called a TITAN 90. Most were scrapped. The sister truck GMC Astro was well represented at the show. The Duplex conventional was also a rare beast. Thanks for taking us to a show many of us will never be able to attend.

Wow! The first BJ and the Bear truck is actually the one from the pilot episode. After the pilot they switched to the truck with the big iconic double window sleeper, like the second one.

Nice long video Austin! Ya learn something new every day! Yup Dodge did make both conventional and cab over! For quite a while. Wo4d to the wise. When at a truck show. If your going to upload it on KZbin .Like you did. It's best to show as much of the front 3/4 angle that you can . Including the bumper. In that way we can know what state's there from. But for a first time truck show recording. It was excellent!

Ever hear of the Duplex Truck Company of Lansing, Michigan? Actually founded in Charlotte, the company built trucks for the government and other private companies from 1916-1955.

awesome video as always keep em coming I gotta say one thing though my future I plan to own my own trucking company and I plan to put together my own truck show held at my company and I would welcome all big trucks old and new and it be a free for all which would mean any can show up no registration as I wouldn't want to and wouldn't turn away someone with a truck they want to show I don't believe in that I understand why here they might as I heard something in the background about must register as maybe they might run out of space or something and me I would keep a close eye on that to when I do get to hold my own but I wouldn't want to turn away people I would figure it out when it came to it to have others participate if space has filled up but yeah I deffintally wouldn't have no registration and wouldn't turn anyone away I just couldn't be a person like that so my whole plan is to do my research and get a big lot when I do get to get my trucking company goin so I have a big place to hold a truck show
