Rad Ness Eh, but Loyola-Chicago never beat a one seed. VCU, George Mason, and LSU, all eleven seeds, did indeed win against a one seed. Loyolas' run was good, yes, but there are three that are better.

Looking back, this may have been the greatest NCAA Tournament Ever from a viewer's standpoint (I'm a Duke Fan). - We saw Villanova torch opponents with lethal shooting and breathtaking offense. We may never see as prolific an offensive team for a while. - We saw the number 1 overall seed Virginia Cavaliers collapse against #16 UMBC and not only that, but UMBC almost made it to the Sweet Sixteen. Jarius Lyles made himself a household name after that. - We saw Buffalo and Marshall defeat teams in Arizona and Wichita State that had Final Four aspirations. - We saw Florida State and Kansas State reach the Elite Eight as a pair of 9 seeds in their respective divisions. - We saw Jordan Poole save Michigan's season with a buzzer beater against Houston. - We saw Syracuse make a run to the Sweet Sixteen where they stunned Obama's favorite to win, Michigan State. - We saw Texas A and M pulverize North Carolina. - We saw Gonzaga struggle their way to the Sweet Sixteen. - We saw a rock chalk division with Kansas edging out Duke. - We saw many future superstars (Marvin Bagley III, Trae Young, DeAndre Ayton, Wendell Carter, Miles Bridges, Mikal Bridges, Donte DiVincenzo, Jalen Brunson, Moritz Wagner, Shai Grigeous-Alexander, Kevin Knox, etc...) - We saw (most impressively) a Loyola Chicago Team capture the hearts of everyone around the nation with a pair of buzzer beaters to start out the tournament and then cruise to the Final Four, where they nearly beat Michigan.

I think the 2018 tournament was one of the best I’ve seen. There was so many underdog teams that made it to the sweet 16 or farther such as Loyola-chi, Florida st, Kansas st, Syracuse, Nevada, and Texas A&M. Also let’s not forget UMBC over Virginia.

Such a great tournament. This year is especially exciting since there isn't a clear favorite. Villanova was so clearly better than everyone last year. Duke looked like they could be that team this year, but their weak bench has been exposed with Zion injured. No team is a shoe-in for the Final Four.

The best wins don’t require buzzer beaters. If you always consider the clutch factor as very important, then consider this. If you play better defense or make a few extra shots, then you don’t need a buzzer beater to win.

How do you not include more of WVU vs Nova? Konate’s two handed block of Bridges trying to slam it on a fast break was sick, and then Eric Paschall thunders a two handed slam home over Konate a minute later to show who the big dog really is. It was one of the most exciting stretches in the entire tournament.
