Chase King I’m a Purdue fan so I dealt with everyone saying we shouldn’t be in the elite eight, then we were a couple seconds away from beating the number one team in our side of the bracket. Then the buzzer beater 😖 then Cline missing the free throw it was all a mess and so stressful

Uhh..any game with Purdue involved in that tournament was insanity & absurd. I'm a Michigan State fan as you might know & i had really wished they would join us in the final four!! UVA had the greatest turnaround (walking on egg shells essentially from sweet 16 & on) from the absolute worst to the absolute best! 😂😂 MSU defied the odds with a banged up or injured roster. This tournament was one to remember for many reasons for me. :)

Sam Sharp UCF was a better team than Duke that game for sure. Referees had to help duke because them loosing that early would have DESTROYED tv ratings. They hyped Zion up all year, and really they started falling apart late season just as this years duke team is doing.

I just rewatched it thinking "maybe Purdue knocked it back there..." but no. Virginia just basically got handed a game. The rules very complexly say that possession ends as soon as the ball leaves the shooter's hands, and the ball is allowed to *bounce* back into the backcourt, but it didn't bounce. Possession was regained when Virginia intentionally tapped it backwards after the shot. That is a backcourt violation.
