Some things are better left alone, if it works why fix it! This GranTurismo has a great blend of sport with luxury. As well as a naturally aspirated V-8, when alot of other manufactures are all going to a V-6 which never sound as good as a V-8. This Is probably the best sounding car in the world. It reminds me of a luxurious, sport muscle car. This is my dream car. The only maserati that shares parts with a chrysler is the Maserati Ghibli. That I know of. I have a Dodge Ram which is from Chrysler which is a wonderful machine. Smooth, fast, and generally a great looking truck. Why the Hate anyway on Chrysler? The feel and drive of the Maserati GranTurismo will always leave a smile on your face and bring music to your ears that no other car can do. If you have not driven one or experienced sitting in one and firing one up , I would definetely recommend it in a heartbeat for it will make your heart race as well. I just wish they were more affordable. Cause I want one! If you think about it the Italians got everything right! The food the clothing, the cars and the stillettos, did I mention the stillettos. And I'm not even Italian. Have a great day guys!

The climate control is from 1988 and thats the same Uconnect system in a Dodge or Chrysler but it still looks and sounds amazing for what it is so yeah im getting one pre-owned of course lol

Looks like a 10-year-old car. Who does foggy light nowadays? Steering wheel looks like from an old Honda Pilot not sporty at all. Maserati is way too slow to upgrading this car or releasing Alferi.

That's right. I have a 2014 sport, and once you have turned it on and put him in sportmode, it doesn't matter anymore. The sound makes this car special, a real head turner.

Yes looks a bit dated but the actual materials used are of super high quality. Everything you touch feels of quality. The updated Quattroporte is nice and all with the updated looks/electronics but material wise, it doesn't compare. I actually don't like the updated nav system. It doesn't fit the rest of the interior. If I had unlimited funds I'd purchase a 2017 or lower year model.

Zero - I agree. They only changed the center screen which is the same as in my 15 srt jeep. I’ve owned a 2010 s model. People buy it because the looks, timeless style, elegance and presence, especially the sound it makes, it’s a amazing gt car, but the tech is dated but I had a custom “I pad mini” instead of my factory unit which made it 100x better looking.

The David Oh trust me. I do! Unfortunately I have time constraints, and while I’d LOVE to only film on high sun or overcast days, and this was late winter, early spring, and we had a lower sun. Unfortunately, the car was to be sold later that day, so that’s the best I had.

I dont think it will be anything exciting. Pininfarina is not working with them anymore and the current lineup doesnt look half as good as the granturismo or the Coupe. The build quality is complete garbage and interiors are full of nonsense. I loved Maserati and what they meant a decade ago, but Fiat has taken the company and stuffed its face down the gutter and left it there. It has noone to lead it, its owned by a group that only cares about quarterly growth and not about what Maserati should be or how should it make you feel. Its a terrible shame.

Balls Out - Death Race - pound your spine with a hard ride aren't "GrandTuring" cars. I know 2 owners. Gran Turismo means to "TOUR in GRAND" comfort and style. Maserati invented the name, way back. One of the owners, formerly (when young) had an international racing license. THEY BOTH bought it as a daily driver. (Yes, both have $$$). Its as wide as an S Class, long as a Range Rover. Comfortable, yet the driving FEEL & SOUNDS are like a very BIG sports car. Precise handling. TRUE 4 seater. THATS why they drive it daily, over their other cars. They both LOVE it. They aren't selling well because everybody gets confused by all the Web Jockeys online - comparing numbers that dont apply to daily driving cars, that are driven on normal roads where young mothers with babies, drive. And Maserati hasn't addressed the old 'unreliable' issues. The Maser / Ferrari / exotic owners all say they're as reliable as any other super expensive exotic German or Italian cars they own.

There is a huge worldwide theft problem of exotic cars. Thieves use a device to collect your Bluetooth key fob signal, when getting out of your car at work or even through the window in your house, and then transmit it, open your door, push the start button and drive away. Old school keys, some embedded with a signal that hard wires into your car when you insert the key, can actually prevent these quick thefts.

I suggest if you’re buying a true grand touring GT car with a Ferrari designed engine, your focus is on driving it for the pleasure, and you can overlook a few of these conveniences

I almost feel bad for Maserati... I love the name, the potential the brand has and the feeling every day average people get when they see one... But in this competitive market, I don’t see any area that it outcompetes it’s competitors. I sincerely want a reason to buy one some day, please just make a major change somewhere.

These cars look awesome from the front. The rear looks a tad like a Ford Fusion and the interior needs updated. The engine and transmission are good and the exhaust sounds incredible. I like it for the most part.

It was partially sarcasm, ...I wish that translated more effectively over text. Sorry. Anyway, my point was that SaabKyle has a method he has refined over the years. So you may want to develop a method to try differentiating yourself a bit more, because otherwise you'll just come across as an off-brand SaabKyle (SK, going further) Put yourself in my shoes. If I watch an SK video on Car A, I've seen all I need or want to see in this type of format. You could try a more analytical version of what Car & Driver does, it'd slot nicely between what you and SK are doing. Where C&D talks about the emotion and excitement of a driving experience, SK walks through the car's capabilities in a static setting. Perhaps you could slot yourself between them; describe all the different drive modes, interior amenities, etc. in an unsubjective manner. Right now it doesn't really seem like you're carving a niche - you could be bested simply by SaabKyle launching a video of a particular car one day before you happen to. P.S. You should put spaces between a vertical | bar and its neighboring text, unless you have a logo with severe difference in the text's respective formats: Like|THIS

+Andrew Girt Yeah. Once I got back there! I’m 5’8”, and with the front seat at my driving position, it wasn’t too bad. Seat is comfortable and supportive. Getting in and out is embarrassing, but that’s it.

It’s not produced by Chrysler. In fact, this is the only Maserati that was built BEFORE the merger, which I hate, by the way. That’s why I like this one. It’s still the Ferrari/Maserati built car. The only change in this car is the touchscreen. Now, the Ghibli, Quattroporte, And Levante have more in common with FCA and parts bin sharing.

A Kia Stinger can do 0-60 in 4.7secs. Why would I buy this car that does the same for twice the price. Inside looks outdated. I would expect a car of this price to have 0-60 under 4 secs.

You’re right. The Stinger GT is faster in acceleration. And that’s with a turbo V6. I like the Maserati for its heritage and exhaust note, but I think the latter would get tiring after a while.
