You can actually update the navigation system at Mazda service center to get the turn by turn directions projected to heads up display. I made them install Android Auto and Apple Car play on my car and when they installed it, they updated the other software too I believe which gave me that Mazda 6 like turn by turn navigation to heads up display. It costed me $550 in 2022 to install Android Auto and Apple Carplay. But I never regret the decision as it improved my navigation and overall infotainment in the car.

That’s a solid upgrade. I did similar on my 2016 MX5, got apple CarPlay installed which was made available from 2018 onwards. Made the world of difference. Thanks for watching 😊

Now at 2200klms in the new GT CX3 and yes heads up display could be a little larger and the boot. The head of finance hasnt stop complaining about how she has to almost slam the lid to close the boot, so the warming light goes out. And being old and dottery from the old school oh for a temp gauge. The headlights are to say the least excellent. Now some old language the fuel tank only holds 51ltrs 10gallons and on a country run most of the travel done at 110klms on cruise control it reurned figures like 6.8ltrs/100klms with the fuel tank at half empty and you can see the economy improving as the tank empties. This in return worked out at 44mpg with a fuel tank range of approx 650klms. And still a tight engine. very happy with that result. Lots of comfort and room, vey impressed.

Glad to hear you're enjoy it, for the most part. I agree about the temp gauge. I get a feeling that car makers are removing more and more info and assuming that certain demographics only want to be told when something is wrong, rather than having to monitor anything, if that makes sense. 650km from a tank is good, similar to the MX5 on the highway.

Thanks for the info, with my Mazda 3 SP 25 GT 2017, I have never got a better fuel rating than 8Ltr/100Kms. Currently going at around 9.5

Well its been here a fortnight now and on the second tank of fuel. Does everything and more handles exceptional well and so direct. Clever electronic and command centre which took a bit of operator training to get used too. GPS is very clever and smart and extremely quiet when travelling,, so all in all very happy so far. Took my Brother-In-law back to the dealer and now he has a CX5. Thanks for your review Pete

In our mazda 3 sp25 sedan the fuel mileage decreased as the engine wears in we noticed above the standard spec but now after 15000 its well below have managed to get it down to 5.5 on a 500km trip

You can also turn off the i-stop system by having the aircon on windscreen demist mode

why don't you just turn off by pressing the button to turn it off?

I just sold my Mazda 3 mps 2010 and was looking for another powerful Mazda hatchback and seems this is their next most powerful one is it ? I dont like the shape of their newer ones and only have like 30k to spend and not sure what else is around for that price, that still have luxury, but with a bit of power.
@DavidBournePhotoandVideo3 жыл бұрын
To be honest mate, this won’t scratch the power itch that the MPS has left you with. The comfort and practicality side is covered, but I’d say the engine and auto box will be a bit disappointing. I know it’s a boring and generic answer, but for that coin you’d be silly not to check out a golf GTI, or perhaps an i30n if they’re available where you are? Focus ST is a good shout too. Thanks for watching mate 👍

No cd player No A B driver positioning, really missed out here. And I agree on screen display
@DavidBournePhotoandVideo6 жыл бұрын
CD player doesn't really worry me, as I am used to it with the MX-5. The Astina, which is above the GT gets powered seats, however I'm not sure if there is any memory for the seat positioning.
@petej25336 жыл бұрын
Yes there is seat positioning in the astina but I dont want the sun roof, have sp25 GT on order, hence I found your vid. traded a sp23 at 91.000 original disc pads still there only replaced tyres and battery. love it but 10yrs old and time to go...well done will let you what I think of the sp25GT
