I don't see what is so "old" about the interior. Maybe the screen is smaller, but what else? I think it is on par with most of its competitors.

This is being called the " S " class of Mercedes SUV's. Check out the interior of any new 2018 S Class and you'll see the difference.

Agreed. The entire dash needs updated. CD player and the number keypad? This is probably the last new MB that has these. And a small screen like from an old C class? Waste of money until this truly becomes a GL"S". Hopefully the update comes soon.

srkn Cool I might take the leap towards X7. I would prefer GLS, but waiting two more years is too much wait. The X7 has increased size and three rows too. Coming out this year - 2019 version . I prefer MB, but X7 ,might be better from all I have seen.

pushpa singh I will say yes. 4Runner is for little girls. If u are 6'4" and up, you will not be able to fit inside the driver seat of 4Runner. GLS is bigger and commands respect on the road; however it costs twice the price of 4Runner.

The GLS is badly needing the glass cockpit of other high end Mercedes... I mean even the G-Class has that option now. Come on this is supposed to be the ‘S’ class SUV.

Would you rather take a Navigator or a GLS? For me Navigator. In the GLS being in the 2nd row sucks. The headrests feel like a rock in the 2nd row.

ismael hussain I’m in the UK, so the Navigator doesn’t even get a look - even if I lived in the US. Only Grandchildren (in seats) occupy the 5 rear seats.

Don't be a fool wait for GLS 2020. It is redesigned exterior and interior. Won't get fooled. If u have GL and up from 2013, don't buy this POS. it looks exactly like 2017 and 2018 GLS exterior and interior

The GLC 63 AMG Coupe SUV is better. Though this car is considered S-Class a C class did better! And C-classes SUCK. Not to mention it took Mercedes years and years just to fix the 2nd row headrest problem! And Lincoln is starting beat them! And they took 22 years just to get wood on the dashboard of the Navigator! And people say GLS is the best! That's because it is everything in the 1st row and nothing in the 2nd or 3rd! Sorry I just hate the GLS but can't wait for the 2020 version.

Why I HATE this car 1.Same thing as the 2015 GL550 2.Headrests in 2nd row have bad positioning 3.The front looks ugly 4.You can't change the interior LED light color. 5.OVERPRICED!!!
